Insomniac’s Day Trip Festival Moves Venues for Second Time, Refunds All Ticket-Holders
In an unprecedented turn of events, the organizers of Insomniac’s Day Trip Festival have announced that they have switched the event’s venue a second time, less than a week before the festival. In an apologetic message shared by Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella, festival-goers learned that Day Trip will now take place at San Bernardino’s NOS Events Center, about 80 miles from the original location. Rotella has also extended an olive branch to prospective attendees, offering all ticket-holders full automatic refunds and free tickets to the inaugural Day Trip festival, full reimbursement for non-refundable flights and hotels, and free tickets to any Insomniac event of their choice that is not sold out and scheduled to take place before the end of 2021. “Unf...

In May, model Ashley Morgan Smithline accused Marilyn Manson of “terrifying sexual abuse” in an interview with People. On Wednesday, Smithline became the fourth person to sue Manson. Smithline alleges sexual assault and human trafficking, similar to what Game of Thrones actress Esme Blanco alleged in a suit of her own in April. In the suit, which was initially reported by Rolling Stone, the allegations are similar to what Smithline outlined in the People interview. Saturday Night Live alumnus Chris Kattan was booted from an American Airlines flight on Monday when he refused to wear his mask correctly. Apparently in the process he frightened several of his fellow first-class passengers. Kattan was scheduled to fly to LAX from the Dallas/Fort Worth airport. According to TMZ, he was “stumbling and seemed sick” when boarding the plane, in part because “he had mucous hanging out of his nose when he leaned over.” Kattan was not wearing a mask at that point, so passengers alerted flight attendants about the potential health risk.
