I have cancer. It sucks and I’m scared, and at the same time I’m blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this. I still have months of treatment ahead of me but I’m trying to remain hopeful and positive. Can’t wait to be cancer free and see you all at a concert in the near future. Love to you all.” In addition to his well-known musical ventures, Hoppus also hosts the show After School Radio on Apple Mus...
In a fiery virtual hearing, Britney Spears hit back at the conservatorship that has encompassed her life for the past 13 years, demanding that her father, Jamie Spears, be removed from it and that it end altogether. “I’ve been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatized. I just want my life back,” Spears said to Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny during the Zoom call, according to The New York Times. “I want to end the conservatorship without having to be evaluated. I shouldn’t be in a conservatorship if I can work. The laws need to change. I truly believe this conservatorship is abusive.” “My dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship, including my management … they should be in jail,” she continued. “I truly believe this conservatorship is abusive. I don’t feel like I...

It looks like Skrillex‘s next big collaboration has leaked from an incredibly unlikely source. Hoverboard engineer Hunter Kowald recently shared a video of himself casually flying through Times Square on his own board—dubbed the “SkySurfer”—before the clip went viral. In his initial Instagram post, Kowald inadvertently revealed a new collab between Skrillex and chart-topping reggaeton artist J Balvin. While the video itself neither confirms nor denies any rumors, its caption has the looks of a smoking gun. “In NYC for a @jbalvin and @skrillex music video,” the post reads. Due to the nature of the tease, we’re unable to confirm any other details about the music video or song in question. But it’s safe to say that if Kowald is involved...

Have you heard the one by Jerry Seinfeld about the invention of the Pop-Tart? If not, you’re in luck because the comedian has inked a deal with Netflix to turn his stand-up joke about the iconic breakfast pastry into a full-blown movie. The Seinfeld co-creator will star in Unfrosted, the streamer’s upcoming film about the creation of Pop-Tarts. He’s also slated to both direct and write the deliciously bonkers project. In a statement to Deadline, Seinfeld revealed that the impetus of the movie came to him in the midst of quarantining. “Stuck at home watching endless sad faces on TV I thought this would be a good time to make something based on pure silliness,” he said. “So we took my Pop-Tart stand-up bit from my last Netflix special and exploded it into a giant, crazy comedy movie.” T...
