Taylor Swift to Release New Version of Red in November

Over the past few years, Taylor Swift has vowed to reissue re-recorded versions of her early albums. So far, she released Fearless, which we said in our review was a “meticulous flashback boosted by new deep cuts.” Now, it seems like she’s upping the stakes for a reissue of Red. In a tweet on Friday, Swift revealed her plans for Red, which will be out on Nov. 19. This new version will contain a whopping 30 songs and as she said herself as a tease, “And hey, one of them is even ten minutes long.” “Musically and lyrically, Red resembled a heartbroken person. Serj Tankian has released a 24-minute modern classical composition titled Disarming Time: A Modern Piano Concerto on his own label, Serjical Strike Records. The piece comes accompanied by a self-produced video the System of a Down frontman made utilizing his own pictures and videos. Tankian said that this project came from him “itching for a musical challenge” during the height of the pandemic. Top Salt Lake City Nightclub Responds to Allegations of Homophobic Incident That Led to “Traumatic Brain Injury”

A leading Salt Lake City nightclub is under fire after an alleged assault that one attendee says sent her to the hospital with a “traumatic brain injury.” The incident took place at Sky SLC, which hosted an event on June 6th that was sponsored by the Utah Pride Center. The attendee, Jenny Fu, alleges that a bartender directed homophobic comments toward three of her friends, who are queer. After Fu objected to the language, she claims the bartender proceeded to call the club’s security guards in to “intimidate” her before she was forcibly removed. The album soundtrack, which features both Cuomo’s and Grammer’s vocals, is out now. Set in the mid-’90s, The Space Between follows Grammer playing a washed-up former rock star struggling to reconnect with his record label as he loses his grip on reality. The 11-track album begins with a Cuomo tune featuring AWOLNATION, followed by six performances by Grammer, a piano instrumental from Volker Bertelmann, then ending with three demos from the Weezer frontman.
