Naya Rivera’s Dad Says She Was ‘Really Looking Forward to Starting to Record Music Again’

Her younger sister Nickayla shared a heartbreaking tribute last July, just weeks after her death, writing that her “world has been turned upside down” following Naya’s death. Naya’s 64-year-old father recalled one of their last conversations, approximately two weeks before her death, about organizing a trip to Nashville, where he planned to meet her and encourage her to jumpstart her singing career again. The Memphis rapper was arrested after he allegedly shot a club security guard. Per TMZ, Pooh Shiesty got pinched on Tuesday afternoon (June 8) on a warrant for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Reportedly, a shooting went down at a Miami club, and it was a security guard who got shot over what’s being described as a “dispute over money.” The further details are pure SMH f*ckery. Richard Pryor’s 1973 Live at the Comedy Store Recording to Receive First Release

A recording of Richard Pryor’s 1973 performance at the Comedy Store in West Hollywood is receiving its first official release on July 23rd via Omnivore Recordings. The performance took place on October 29th, 1973 at the now-legendary Comedy Store during the first night of a four-show run meant for Pryor to workshop new material. As such, it was never intended to be heard beyond the original audience. However, the set was still recorded and surviving tapes have been collected into a 20-track collection. 14 tracks are pulled from a promotional CD included with copies of the No Pryor Restraint: Life in Concert box set released in 2013. Brian Eno has unveiled a new Sonos Radio station called The Lighthouse. Available via Sonos Radio’s ad-free HD audio tier, the channel is broadcasting classic songs from the ambient legend’s career alongside previously unreleased music and more.
