It’s less of a traditional Netflix standup special than it is an experimental look at quarantine’s highs, lows, and the dark comedy that lies in between. It’s held up by a number of catchy songs that Burnham created himself, and it turns out those tracks are about to get a proper album release later this week. As The Hollywood Reporter points out, Burnham will put Inside (The Songs) on music streaming platforms this Thursday, June 10th. HipHopWired Featured Video Source: FayesVision/WENN.com / WENN Actress Ellie Kemper broke her silence and issued an apology for her participation in a debutante pageant covered in racist controversy back when she was 19 years old. The comedic star of Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, who was also featured in Bridesmaids and The Office took to her Instagram on Monday (June 7) to apologize for her involvement in the Veiled Prophet Ball in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. Articles from the St. Louis Dispatch that covered her crowning at the event in 1999 wound up setting Twitter afire this past weekend, making many speculate about Kemper and why she would take part in such a thing. “The century-old organization that hosted the debutante ball had an unquestionably racist, sexist an...

While the state legalized cannabis in 2017, there has previously not been a legal venue for recreational users to consume it publicly. With the new legislation signed, two new licensing classes have been created: one for “retail cannabis consumption lounges” and a second for “independent cannabis consumption lounges.” The creation of new entertainment experiences around cannabis should only fortify Vegas’ reputation as one of the world’s foremost entertainment capitals. The city’s largest dispensary, Planet 13—a gigantic 23,000 square foot super-center with several onsite restaurants—had publicly stated that they are ready to break ground on th...
