Sinead O’Connor Reverses Course and Isn’t Retiring

Sinead O’Connor isn’t retiring after all. A few days after saying that she was giving up touring and recording, the singer-songwriter (and now author), O’Connor had a change of heart. In a tweet, she explained her decision. “Good news. Fuck retiring. I retract. Am not retiring. I was temporarily allowing pigs in lipstick to fuck my head up… here’s my statement….. in the form of these three photos. It’s ‘colourful’ but that’s me : ) #LetOConnorBeOConnor,” it said. Amigo the Devil Announces 2021 US Tour

The entire trek will be supported by Tejon Street Corner Thieves, while IV and the Strange Band (led by Hank Williams III’s son Coleman) and Stephanie Lambring will also appear at select dates. The lengthy 50-plus show itinerary begins on August 18th at Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and runs all the way through November 18th, when it wraps up in Dallas. Lindsey Buckingham Shares ‘I Don’t Mind’ Single Off His First Solo Album in a Decade

Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist/singer Lindsey Buckingham announced he’s releasing a self-titled LP on Sept. 17, sharing the first single ahead of the set, “I Don’t Mind,” today. It’s his first solo album in a decade. Additionally, Buckingham disclosed dates for a tour to launch on Sept. 1 in Milwaukee and will run through Dec. 20, concluding at a stop in Boulder, Colorado. “‘I Don’t Mind,’ like many of the songs on the new album, is about the challenges couples face in long-term relationships. The ’90s are back, baby. Soul Asylum will headline a 27-date fall tour that will feature fellow ’90s stalwarts Local H and Juliana Hatfield on the bill as well. All three artists have released albums in the past year, with Soul Asylum’s dropping at the onset of the pandemic. Local H released an album last year and Hatfield put out her new collection in May The Back In Your Face tour kicks off on Aug. 3 in Reading, Pennsylvania before hitting 26 other cities. It concludes in Dave Pirner’s home state of Minnesota, with a Sept. 18 show in Maple Grove. Spoon Unveil Fall Tour Dates

Austin’s Spoon will kick off a run of U.S. tour dates, starting on Sept. 3 in Ogden, Utah, with stops in Aspen, Boulder, Burlington, Brooklyn, and points in between. The band will be joined by Nicole Atkins on all headline dates. It’s their first time back on the road since Spoon’s 2019 outing with Beck and Cage the Elephant. At that time, Fender also released the Britt Daniel Signature Telecaster Thinline after Spoon’s singer/guitarist/co-founder as part of their artist’s signature electric guitar series.
