For what appears to be their only scheduled shows for 2021, Nine Inch Nails will be returning to their hometown of Cleveland, Ohio for a pair of concerts on Sept. 21 and 23. The shows obviously mark the band’s first venture back to the city since they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year, and according to a post on their official Instagram, will be “the only NIN headline shows of 2021,” which seems to leave the door open for festival appearances and such. Tickets go on sale on May 14 at 10 am ET, and they’ll be bringing the Pixies along with them. Plus, the venue (Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica) is just a couple of miles from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and right next door to the aquarium, so you can really hit most of what Cleveland has to offer while i...
The 2021 Ford Bronco SUV, which isn’t out yet and is not to be confused with the smaller Ford Bronco Sport that is available at dealerships now, is going to get pre-wired upfitter switches to make powering accessories easier. These factory-installed auxiliary switches (and attendant wiring) will be standard on two- and four-door Black Diamond, Wildtrak, Badlands, and First Edition Ford Bronco trim levels and optional on the Base and Outer Banks versions. There was no mention of availability for the Big Bend trim. The six upfitter switches will be located overhead for easy access, akin to their location on current F-Series trucks. Ever-useful accessory switches are not a new addition for Ford or other manufacturers, which have all been offering this option for many years. The Jeep Wra...

It opens with P!nk and Willow hanging out in the 9-year-old’s bedroom, with an exasperated Willow huffing, “Ugh, Mom, I don’t want to hear a fairy tale! I’m not five years old anymore!” Undeterred, P!nk tells the story of another 9-year-old who thought she was all that and soooo grown up: smoking cigarettes, fighting with her mom (portrayed by Light) and fellow students, getting arrested and raging against everything. “This is my story, it’s mine to tell/ About how I learned to break out of my cell,” P!nk says over gentle acoustic guitar. “There’s only one way you can truly live free/ It lies in the power of when I becomes me.” That preamble leads to the journey of P!nk’s rise to the top, which starts with her falling ...
Wilson, who was honored at the She Rocks Awards during January, does credit the pandemic with prodding her toward a solo effort, though she’s worked outside of Heart in Roadcase Royale, the Lovemongers and film projects. “It’s really an interesting result of the situation, the shutdown,” Wilson explains. “I probably would’ve been vortexed into the Heart touring life…. That’s a full-time travel job which is punctuated with the beautiful reward system of being able to play a rock show on a nice, big stage. But now, having this open-ended window of time was really in so many ways just a great thing. It was wonderful to be able to have the time to do this (solo album), something people have always been asking me about doing.” Wilson acknowl...

Cook has announced Apple Vs. 7G, a new remix album based on — you guessed it — his 2020 releases Apple and 7G. It’s out May 28th, and the latest single is “Xcxoplex”, a reworking of the Apple bite “Xxoplex” featuring Charli XCX. Apple Vs. 7G came together organically, as Cook played virtual live sets or lent other artists his tunes. It includes Caroline Polachek’s remix of “Oh Yeah”, a fresh take on “2021” from umru, and the recent single “The Darkness” with Sarah Bonito and Hannah Diamond. “When I was working on both Apple and 7G, I really wanted to capture the fun, limitless potential of music ...
