California Soil is the followup to Truth Is A Beautiful Thing, which hit No. 3 in June 2017, while their debut If You Wait reached No. 2 in September 2013. The British trio will tour these parts in February 2022. The Offspring narrowly miss out on a third crown with Let The Bad Times Roll (Concord/Universal), the U.S. punk veterans’ first LP in nine years. Bad Times rolls in at No. 2 for their eighth Top Ten in Australia. The Offspring previously ruled the ARIA Albums Chart with Smash (February 1995) and Americana (January 1999). Finally, international artists Alex Henry Foster and AJ Tracey make their ARIA Chart debu...
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty If Benny The Butcher grinded on the block in the same way he’s been on his rap grizzly, then the man must’ve really been running the avenue cause his work ethic is Tupac Shakur-ish! Dropping off new videos on a damn near daily basis, Benny keeps on churning out new work as today he comes through with some new visuals to “When Tony Met Sosa.” Rapping on a bathtub with an exotic young women soaking in it’s bubbles, the visual continues to paint the picture of a man enjoying the fruits of his labor and styling in high-end attire. Keeping the vibe in NY, Drag-On keeps on ridin’ with his ruffians and in his clip for “Cold Day” reminds everyone that he’s still out here whippin it on two-wheelers like it’s the early 00’s. Check out the rest ...

He wrote, “I wanted to record a song that would not only pay tribute to the people and music that influenced me to become a musician, but also pay tribute to my long family history. So, what better song than an X song? And what better...

We’ve all been there. The moment when you realize your car keys aren’t in the first, second, third, or fourth place you normally leave them. Now you’re late for work, or for a doctor’s appointment, or whatever equally dire situation that presents itself. But luckily, Apple has launched what might be the best addition to its product line in a very long time: AirTags. Each AirTag is a quarter sized, battery-powered Bluetooth puck that passively keeps track of, well, anything you latch it to. The AirTag itself uses Apple’s U1 chip with ultra wideband technology to improve the unit’s location accuracy. Bluetooth LE (“low energy”) means the CR2032 battery (those flat ones found in watches and most key fobs) should last about a year before it ...
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E is a new electric vehicle, an expansion of the Mustang nameplate into a brand, and a very important vehicle for the Blue Oval—the latter being an understatement. Don’t forget that we also feel that it earns its pony badge, offering style, performance, and reasonable utility with enough deference to its two-door sibling. Not to say the Mach-E isn’t controversial to some enthusiasts, but that would be the case no matter how good it is. Now we can add the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) crash-test ratings to the discussion. Let’s cut right to the chase. The Mach-E scores well in all the crash tests IIHS conducts. (And as of this writing, NHTSA hasn’t conducted its testing.) It earned the top rating of “Good”...
Digital Underground was formed in Oakland, Calif., in 1987 by Shock G, Chopmaster J and Kenny-K, and the collective included a revolving door of more than three dozen members over its almost three decades of activity — including some of the earliest recordings from a young Tupac Shakur. The group had four top 40-charting hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, including the top 10 smash “The Humpty Dance,” which also spent five weeks at No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart in 1990 and peaked at No. 11 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. The song also garnered a Grammy nomination for best rap performance by a duo or group. “The Humpty Dance” was one of two top 20-charting hits on the Dance Club Songs chart, alongside 1991’s “Same Song.” The l...
