Bass music virtuoso MUST DIE! has announced he is releasing a new full-length album, CRISIS VISION. The album will be MUST DIE!’s first in over six years following his seminal debut, 2014’s Death & Magic. That record featured a number of tracks that are considered to be highly influential in the electronic music scene, such as the house hybrid “Hellcat” and dubstep banger “Gem Shards,” the latter of which Skrillex famously rinsed in countless live DJ sets. In March, MUST DIE! announced that he has a collaboration in the works with electronic music legend Skream and young gun Akeos. We’re unable to confirm whether or not the unreleased track will appear on CRISIS VISION, but fans can certainly hold out hope considering the magnitude of...
Don Diablo has made NFT history after selling his Destination Hexagonia piece for a staggering $1,259,280, or 600.0Ξ. Diablo sold the one-of-a-kind NFT, or non-fungible token, on the aptly titled SuperRare marketplace. The drop, which sold in just four minutes, was the first-ever full-length concert experience to be sold as an NFT. The HEXAGON label boss, who called Destination Hexagonia a “next level sci-fi animated live concert experience,” has been working on developing the piece over the course of the last year. The winning bidder received a unique hand-crafted box, which includes a hard drive that contains the only copy of the high-quality file of the film in existence. Watch Diablo explain the inspiration behind the ambitious NFT project...
There’s a new competition class in the works for the 2021 Mint 400 off-road desert race, and it’s dedicated exclusively to military vehicles. The class will allow manufacturers and owners of historic and modern mil-spec vehicles to race against one another—a uniquely unusual type of convoy for combat-ready vehicles. This news comes on the heels of the race’s recently announced electric vehicle competition class. See all 6 photos What’s the rationale for a racing class dedicated to military vehicles? Machines from U.S. military vehicle makers, including those of GM Defense, Flyer Defense, Oshkosh, AM General, and Polaris Defense, are more than capable of tackling the rugged off-road desert terrain of the Mint 400. In addition to it being a great proving ground for mi...
Taylor Swift caused quite the social media frenzy on Friday (April 9) following the release of her re-recorded sophomore breakthrough album Fearless (Taylor’s Version). The 31-year-old singer traveled back in time to 2008 and breathed new life into the 20 original tracks fans came to know and love at a younger age while adding six never-before-released songs “From the Vault.” But those bonus cuts weren’t the only things unleashed online. Her die-hard followers spun their own (even Swift co-signed) versions of the Internet’s beloved cinematic memes, from Adam Driver’s infamous wall-punching scene in Marriage Story expressing one’s preparation for “Today Was a Fairytale (Taylor’s Version)” to Rachel McAdams’...
Mon Laferte, Seis (Universal Music México) Mon Laferte wrote her sixth album, aptly titled Seis, while hunkered down in the pueblo mágico Tepoztlán, nearly two hours south of Mexico City. The Chilean singer-songwriter started writing it a month after the COVID-19 lockdown was imposed. “I was like everyone else, just filled with uncertainty,” she told Billboard. “So I clung onto my music and my guitar because I thought, if the world ends, I at least want people to know how I was feeling.” It’s the first album in which she sings regional Mexican (banda, corridos tumbados, mariachi) music in homage to the country she’s live in for the past 14 years. In it, she doesn’t hold back while singing about toxic relationships, past and future loves, and the lo...

It will be released on July 9th via New West Records, one week before the band’s 53-date arena tour. Exit Wounds spans 10 songs and was produced by Butch Walker. Singer-songwriter Shelby Lynne appears on four tracks. In a statement, Dylan explained the meaning of the album’s title. “I think everybody — no matter what side of the aisle you’re on — wherever we’re going to next, we’re all taking a lot of exit wounds with us. Nobody is the same as they were four years ago,” he said. “That, to me, is what E...

According to Deadline, the Emmy-winning Fleabag actress will co-star alongside Harrison Ford in the fifth installment of the iconic adventure series. Unlike the first four movies, the most recent being 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Steven Spielberg will switch from director to producer, while James Mangold (Ford v Ferrari, Logan) will step into the directors seat. Don’t worry, though: legendary composer John Williams, who’s scored every film in the franchise, will return to craft its soundtrack. Th...
