Netflix Shares Trailer for Yasuke, New Anime Scored by Flying Lotus: Watch
Flying Lotus is one of the creative forces behind a new anime series called Yasuke, which is set to premiere on Netflix on April 29th. In anticipation, the first trailer has been released and is streaming below. FlyLo both executive produced and scored Yasuke, but he’s hardly the only big name attached. LeSean Thomas, a veteran of The Boondocks and Black Dynamite, created and directed the series, while LaKeith Stanfield (Atlanta) voices the titular character. As a result of the joint effort, the operation hilariously called “Chicken Drumstick,” which sold cheat codes on a website to customers worldwide, was shut down the BBC reports. As a result, 17 cheat codes were destroyed, and local authorities arrested 10 people on March 31. A subscription to the website cost between $10 a day to $200 a month, the organization made roughly $76 million in revenue just off subscriptions. After 18 years as one of the world’s foremost pro audio forums, Gearslutz has decided to begin a new chapter as Gearspace. The move comes after a Change.org petition calling for a name change, wihch garnered nearly 5,000 signatures. BTS have unveiled their new song “Film Out”. Watch the accompanying music video below. The song is taken from the South Korean boy band’s upcoming Japanese-language album BTS, the Best, which is supposed to arrive in full on June 16th. Outside of this new single and their 2020 English-language single “Dynamite” as a bonus track, the two-disc set serves a compilation of all the Japanese-language songs they’ve released since 2017. BTS announced the record on March 26th, but they’ve been teasing the official release of “Film Out” since February.
