Tom DeLonge has partnered with Reverb to sell his Blink-182 and Angels and Airwaves gear. The Official Tom DeLonge Reverb Shop goes live on March 24th. Over 100 items used in the studio and on tour will be up for grabs, including synthesizers, keyboards, amps, pedals, road cases, and more. For fans of Blink-182, there’s a few priceless artifacts, like the Marshall JMP-1 and Mesa Boogie Triaxis amps the band toured with beginning in 2000. “A lot of these still have the original settings for the songs they were used on,” DeLonge said in a press release. The veteran musician simply has too much stuff, and it’s time to make space. Reverb hosted a similar sale with Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine, who sold much of his stock within the first days of launching. DeLonge is the latest major artist to sell...

We’ve heard for years about Kevin’s impressive car collection, including a convertible Pontiac GTO and not one but two Mustangs—a 1965 Ford Mustang convertible and a restomod Mustang GT500E Super Snake making over 700 hp—along with a selection of Europe’s finest exotics. Now, The Plastic Cup Boyz want in on the action, and because everyone wants an awesome muscle car, they might as well start a car crew. MOAR Power and Torque! For 2021, the Ford F-150 Police Responder’s standard 3.5-liter “EcoBoost” V-6 engine gets a boost in power and torque of 25 hp and 30 lb-ft and powertrain calibration custom tailored to police duty. That adds to 400 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, which out-muscles the V-8 competition by 4-45 hp and by 90-117 lb-ft of torque. Its standard 10-speed automatic trumps the Chevy by four ratios and the Ram by two. Four-wheel drive is standard on all of the police pickups. We expect the Ford to be at least 1.5 seconds quicker to 60 mph than the Chevy or Ram with a time of around 5.2 seconds. There’s also a new button that allows an officer to temporarily disable pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking to better facilitate a bump-n-spin or p...
Drake also joins The Beatles and Ariana Grande as the only acts to have claimed the Hot 100’s top three spots simultaneously. As Grande also co-wrote all three songs with which she achieved the feat (“7 Rings,” “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” and “Thank U, Next”), on the chart dated Feb. 23, 2019, she and Drake are the only soloists ever to rank at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on the Hot 100 simultaneously as both billed recording acts and songwriters. (Beatles Paul McCartney and John Lennon co-wrote all three of the band’s songs in the Hot 100’s top three on March 14, 1964, the first time that an act scored such a triple: “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” at No. 1; “She Loves You,” at No. 2; and “Please Plea...

The live events industry breathed a sigh of relief when Congress passed the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant providing $15 billion to shuttered venues and independent promoters in December, but Espinoza says it’s “disrespectful” that no legislation passed to support event workers. While venues await their funding, Roadiecare is among several industry-adjacent nonprofits stepping up to feed and employ event workers who are without their usual income for the foreseeable future. Live event crew members were hit particularly hard by the pandemic due to complicated unemployment guidelines in the 2020 CARES Act. The pandemic relief legislation allowed for freelance workers to apply for Pandemic Unemploy...

With over 62 million Spotify streams for “Send the Pain Below,” millions of albums sold and a deal with Epic Records since 2002, you’d think hard rock outfit Chevelle would be doing pretty well financially. However, Chevelle vocalist/guitarist Pete Loeffler said in an interview with “The KiddChris Show” on WEBN radio in Cincinnati that the band fulfilled their contract with the label with the 2021 release of NIRATIAS, and that now, “It would be nice to do something different and actually make a buck off of an album for once; it just hasn’t happened for us. We’ve sold 6 million albums for Epic Records, and they’ve made 50 million dollars. It’s lopsided.” <!– // Brid Player Singles. var _bp = _bp||[]; _bp.push({ “div”: “Brid_10143537...
