However, when an Irish Green Gunther Werks 993-series Porsche 911 shows up, well, our jaws drop, our eyes widen, and our hearts are struck with nothing but pure, unadulterated want. We’ve covered a few of Gunther Werks’ remastered 911s in the past, and we continue to believe this tuner company is simply unable to disappoint us. As you may or may not know, the SoCal-based company’s creations start life as a regular 993-generation Porsche 911. The engineers at Gunther Werks then take the entire thing apart. Thrash metal legends Dave Lombardo and Scott Ian contributed to the score of the upcoming Netflix film Thunder Force, starring Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer. Lombardo (founding drummer for Slayer and current member of Dead Cross, Suicidal Tendencies, and the Original Misfits) and Ian (founding Anthrax guitarist) recently collaborated together as part of the reunited Mr. Bungle, recording 2020’s The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo. Austin Venues Announce Unified Safety Protocols As Texas Ends Mask Mandate and Reopens
On March 10th, the state of Texas ended its mask mandate and allowed most businesses to reopen at 100% capacity. But many experts think it’s too early to do so, and in response, over 30 Austin venues and businesses have banded together to announce the new initiative Safe in Sound, committing to following CDC guidelines and protecting patrons from COVID-19. The participating institutions vow to restructure operations to accommodate six feet of physical distancing, require employees and customers to wear appropriate PPE, provide hand sanitizer, train employees to maintain safety standards, and commit to daily sanitation of business facilities. On the all-genre Billboard 200, That’s Life bows at No. 58, marking Nelson’s 81st chart entry. That’s Life features familiar favorites like “Nice Work If You Can Get It,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “You Make Me Feel So Young,” “Luck Be a Lady” and “In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning.” Of That’s Life’s 12,500 units earned, 12,000 comprise album sales, 500 comprise SEA units (equating to 626,000 on-demand streams of the set’s songs in its first week) and a negligible number comprise TEA.
