The Chicago star countersued the manager after facing a lawsuit for a breach of contract himself. The Chicago Tribune recently reported on the legal happenings in a Wednesday (Feb. 24) article which laid out the details of the new missive from Chance. Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak have teamed up for a new collaborative project called Silk Sonic and plan to release an album in the near future. Mars shared news of the project on Twitter, explaining that it was made during quarantine. Funk legend Bootsy Collins is also involved in some capacity. Late Brooklyn drill rapper Pop Smoke’s new posthumous single, “AP”, is here. The track was co-produced by his frequent collaborators 808 Melo and Rico Beats along with Jaycen Joshua. It appears on the soundtrack to the Pop Smoke-co-starring Boogie, Eddie Huang’s feature directorial debut. A recent string of posthumous hits — including “Mood Swings”, “For the Night”, and “What You Know Bout Love” — have revealed Pop Smoke’s softer side, but “AP” is a return to his signature, hard-hitting style. Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino shared new information Thursday (Feb. 25) about the company’s plans for the return of live music. Once the concert promoter gets government approval to operate above a 50% capacity in the majority of territories where it hosts concerts, Rapino estimates the rehiring of employees and rescaling of the company will take three months. “We’ve been talking to our global employees about that kind of timeline when we can [promote] our first show at scale,” Rapino told analysts and investors on a company conference call Thursday for the company’s year-end earnings report.
