BottleRock Music Festival Organizers Face Lawsuit from Sexual Assault Victim

The organizers of BottleRock Napa have been hit with a lawsuit from a woman who was sexually assaulted at the music festival’s 2019 edition. The Napa Valley Register reports that the woman, known as Jane Doe, was assaulted by a Richmond man named Peterson William Fontes on May 25th, 2019 on the festival’s grounds. Fontes allegedly used a hand saw to surreptitiously cut a hole in a portable toilet that he would eventually use to attack Doe, whose real name was omitted from the report to protect her identity. Fontes was eventually convicted and sentenced to 16 years in prison, but the litigation does not stop there. Doe went on to file a civil complaint against BottleRock Napa’s organizers and security contractors, Latitude 38 Entertainment, LLC, NPB Companie...

Recent social media posts seem to point to the imminent release of Armin van Buuren and Alesso‘s first-ever collaboration. On Valentine’s Day, both artists took to Twitter to share hand-drawn art featuring their logos and the words “Leave a Little Love.” Appropriate for the romantic holiday, they are both styled to look like love notes and are fashioned with hearts. Unfortunately for impatient fans, no song preview or pre-save link exists, as nothing more than the teaser image was posted. FIFA announces appointment of chief operating officers for Women’s World Cup 2023

On Tuesday, world football governing body, FIFA, announced the appointment of two Chief Operating Officers (COOs) in Australia and New Zealand respectively for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 that will be jointly hosted by both countries. Last year, the pair took up the initial appointment to lead the FIFA Women’s World Cup office in their respective host countries. Now, Jane Fernandez has officially been named as the COO for Australia, with the New Zealand COO position going to Jane Patterson, officially too. Marilyn Manson Abused and Threatened to Kill His Current Wife, Claims Ex-Assistant

Dan Cleary, a former personal assistant for Marilyn Manson, alleges that the rocker abused and threatened to kill his current wife, Lindsay Usich. The revelation comes weeks after Manson’s ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood,  former girlfriend Esmé Bianco, and several other women accused the singer of abuse. Cleary, who initially worked as a a keyboard tech on Manson’s touring crew, served as his personal assistant from 2014 to 2015. The iconic show will reunite the OG cast of the first season with brand new episodes for their new show “The Real World Homecoming: New York.” Engadget reports that the reboot’s first season will film the original seven roommates in the same Soho loft where they first met back in 1992.
