It looks like Armin van Buuren and Alesso have a hit on their hands. Since the duo tortured the lovelorn on Valentine’s Day 2021 with a cryptic teaser of a track called “Leave a Little Love,” they’ve remained quiet about their first-ever collaboration—until now. Alesso and van Buuren each took to social media today, February 17th, to share a preview of the upcoming song, which sounds like an instant dance classic. The clip is short, but fans can hear bubbly piano chords akin to Alesso’s signature progressive house sound. It also offers up a taste of the track’s vocals, crooned by a singer whose name is yet to be announced. However, it sounds an awful lot like Bonn, the superstar Swedish singer-songwriter who has featured on global hit...
Jamaican-British singer Mahalia has recruited Maryland rapper Rico Nasty for her new single, “Jealous”. Check out the music video below. In the clip, which is directed by Melody Maker and produced by Common People Films, Mahalia and Rico get revenge on an ex by hacking into his smart home. “I was really frustrated at the time with some friends. I was kind of going through this phase of not understanding why I was getting this bad energy from people around me,” Mahalia told BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders about the song. “I think the song, it was kind of me stepping away from that and saying, ‘I’m not going to let this get to me. I’m still going to be the biggest queen I can possibly be in the room.’ It was definitely an empowering song for me to write.” After dropping her pandemic EP, Iso...
Last October, we learned that Tim Burton was in the process of creating a live-action reboot of The Addams Family. It sounded like a shoe-in for the modern master of all things creepy and kooky to give the beloved horror sitcom a 21st century upgrade, and clearly Netflix was sold on the idea. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming service has ordered an eight-episode season of the Burton-directed affair, which is not just an ordinary reboot. Titled Wednesday, the series will be a live-action offshoot of The Addams Family that focuses on the household’s brooding daughter, Wednesday Addams. Netflix’s official synopsis describes the show as such: “A sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday’s years as a student at the peculiar Nevermore Acade...
Hold onto your blue wool jackets and frumpy red hats while you read this news: Paddington 3 is coming. Representatives from Studiocanal have confirmed that a third entry in the beloved Paddington bear franchise is officially in development. In an interview last week with BBC Radio 2’s The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, the series’ star Hugh Bonneville cryptically revealed that there was “forward momentum” on the third Paddington film and that it was “somewhere on the horizon” (via Variety). That sort of vague answer could’ve meant anything, but now Variety is reporting that the project is in active development. “We can confirm Studiocanal is working very hard on film 3 with the utmost craft and care — as with film 1 and 2,” representatives said in a statement. That’s al...
It looks like that upcoming Mr. and Mrs Smith reboot with Phoebe Waller-Bridge isn’t the only thing Donald Glover has in the works at Amazon Prime. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Glover has signed a multiple-year, eight-figure deal with Amazon — and apparently he’s brought Malia Obama (!) onboard as a staff writer for one of his first projects there. This deal has reportedly been in the works for weeks now. While it’s not official just yet, it’s believed to include a “content channel” that will spotlight Glover’s work and various other productions on Amazon’s Prime Video hub, notes The Hollywood Reporter. The 3.15.20 rapper will also executive produce a handful of other projects for Amazon at large. One of those new projects is already starting to take shape. A potential TV...

In case you thought Kelly Clarkson couldn’t totally nail a rock song, think again. The singer took on Foo Fighters‘ “Times Like These” for her daytime talk show’s popular “Kellyoke” segment on Wednesday (Feb. 17). As the United States comes up on the one-year anniversary of COVID-19 lockdowns, the lyrics to the 2002 One By One track feel particularly hopeful and uplifting. “It’s times like these you learn to live again / It’s times like these you give and give again / It’s times like these you learn to love again / It’s times like these time and time again,” Clarkson belted in the chorus. You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. So we reimagined what a dating should be. It begins...
