“You’re so special to me,” she said. She added, “And I want to thank all of you for making ‘Control’ number one once again after 35 years. I never, never in a million years, I would never think that this would happen. I really appreciate you and I love you so, so much. Thank you.” Jackson’s influential Control album, released on Feb. 4, 1986, just celebrated its 35th anniversary. Her latest message to fans comes a day after Timberlake — her former co-star at the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show, where her breast was exposed by Timberlake on live television in what was deemed a wardrobe malfunction, one for which Jackson faced the fallout — issued an apology to her (as well as to Britney Spears), years later. He expressed regret over his past “ignoranc...

Longtime Bachelor host Chris Harrison is stepping aside from the franchise “for a period of time” amidst a growing controversy over recent comments he made defending one of this season’s contestants against allegations of racism. Earlier this week, Harrison gave an interview to Extra during which he downplayed the past behavior of Rachael Kirkconnell. As Kirkconnell advanced further into this season of The Bachelor, a viral TikTok purported to reveal the contestant “liking” posts containing the Confederate flag and sharing QAnon conspiracy theories. Additionally, photos surfaced of her attending an “Old South” plantation-themed party in 2018 (via The Hollywood Reporter). The Maserati MC20 has been developed without any input from long-time benefactor and engine supplier Ferrari, and its first all-new engine—the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 Nettuno—is quite impressive. Its Formula 1-inspired pre-combustion chamber got all the headlines during the car’s launch last year, but we just had a chance to (virtually) tour the Maserati Engine Lab where MC20 engines will be assembled (on the site where engines were built when the Orsi brothers first moved Maserati from Bologna to Modena) and learned some interesting clarifications and new facts about this historic new engine. Pros and Cons of That 90-Degree Bank Angle Pros of the engine’s 90-degree bank angle cited by chief engineer Matteo Valentini: It provides a good compromise in overall engine w...
Timberlake’s apology also received support from fellow singer Brandi Carlile. “Really beautiful to read this,” she commented on the post. “I think it’s going to speak to a lot of people’s pain. I can’t wait to see how you get involved with elevating women and marginalized people. you’re an inspiring dude to me.” Timberlake issued the apology in response to criticism he received online following the early February premiere of the The New York Times Presents: Framing Britney Spears on FX and Hulu. In the documentary, the then 21-year-old “Better Days” singer is seen joking in interviews about the couple’s sex life amid their highly publicized split in 2002. The film also touches on the casting of a Britney lookalike for the music video of his b...

“This is going to be real boring,” the mother of two prefaced her response. “I love literally having a glass of wine. I put the fireplace on in my bedroom … and read a book or I watch some Netflix.” She added, “Or I literally just hang out with my girls. I love that.” Clarkson’s comments arrived ahead of her first Valentine’s Day since splitting with husband Brandon Blackstock. In early June, she filed to end her seven-year marriage with Blackstock. Elsewhere during the segment — which included interviews with actress Sarah Chalke and comedian Kym Whitley — another audience member asked Clarkson, “What’s something that you pretended to be cool with that you weren’t cool with while in a relationship?” ...

Aluna addresses the challenges of making her most recent record, Renaissance, head-on in an illuminating new mini-documentary released on YouTube. The “Envious” songstress said deciding to start the project was both a daunting task and an ideal opportunity at the same time. At the same time, however, that same premise would allow her the freedom to explore and rediscover the dance music genres she’d grown up listening to. A month after committing to take the leap, however, Aluna faced a life-changing discovery. “When I decided to make the record it felt scary and exciting, but I was ready.
