These cowboys have fangs. Danzig wrote, directed, scored, and stars in the upcoming film alongside the likes of Devon Sawa, Julian Sands, Danny Trejo, Eli Roth, and Kim Director. It follows the Death Rider (Sawa), who travels to the desert Vampire Sanctuary, ruled by Count Holliday. Mary Wilson, Original Supremes Member, Dies at 76

After The Supremes disbanded in 1977, Wilson continued on as a solo artist. She was rarely far from the spotlight. In 2019, she competed in Dancing With The Stars and published Supreme Glamour, her fourth book. Outside of music, she threw her energies into numerous social and civic causes. Jan. 21 of this year marked the 60th anniversary of the day The Supremes signed with Motown in 1961. Wilson was front and center in the celebrations. The legendary artist never gave up hope of getting the band back together, in the right circumstances. “Well, let’s put it this way: It’s really up to Diana,” she told THR in January. “I don’t think she wants to do that. It doesn’t make sense unless you come together lovingly. Or at least have an understanding. It can be an understanding, that’s ...

That didn’t stop your favorite celebs/rappers from heading to Tampa to party the night away. COVID-19 is still a problem, but you didn’t see any indication of that in Florida over the weekend. Celebrities and fans flocked to the state that is the official home heada** behavior to partake in festivities that usually accompany the Super Bowl. Now, during normal circumstances, when the country isn’t in the middle of a pandemic, that’s very understandable, BUT, being that the coronavirus is still spreading uncontrollably, partying should be the last thing on people’s minds. Unfortunately, Black celebrities like 50 Cent, Tory Lanez, French Montana, and Hip-Hop trio the Migo...

Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood Calls for UK Government to Renegotiate Brexit Touring Provisions

On February 1st, the long-running Brexit saga finally came to an end, and British citizens woke up on an island both figuratively and literally. But the ramifications of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union are still being parsed. On February 8th, Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood wrote an op-ed in The Guardian that looked at the new requirements for British bands on the Continent and called for the government to “renegotiate on the provision for touring in Europe.” Greenwood opens the op-ed by recalling Radiohead’s first European excursions, the “small clubs and early festival slots across Sweden, The Netherlands and France in a crappy old bus that smelled of diesel and had sad grey curtains.” He adds, “There were so many different kinds of milk.” Beyond the fond memories, G...

After offering solidarity to Wood, Rowsell revealed her alleged experience in a public statement. “I met Marilyn backstage at a festival a few years ago,” tweeted Rowsell. “After his compliments towards my band became more and more hyperbolic I became suspicious of his behaviour. I was shocked to look down and see he was filming up my skirt with a GoPro.” “There were n...

Jason Momoa (via Instagram), Tool’s Maynard James Keenan (photo by Melinda Oswandel) Heavy metal-loving actor Jason Momoa has revealed that performing Tool’s classic song “Sober” inspired his love of bass guitar. The Game of Thrones actor certainly looks the part of a heavy metal bassist. He has pursued the instrument with fervor, even recently jamming with Primus bass legend Les Claypool. But it was performing “Sober” with his kids that initially sparked his love for the low end, as he divulged in a new interview. While he had already been an avid guitar player, his passion for bass developed on the set of 2018’s Aquaman. “I always have instruments on the set, so my son was playing drums and my daughter was playing guitar,” Momoa told Bass Player magazine. “It was my assis...
