Still holding out for the classic Porsche bubble to burst? We’re afraid you might be waiting for quite a while longer. While prices aren’t as stratospheric as they were a few years ago, it’s still tough to find a serviceable, driver-condition air-cooled 911 for under $30,000. On the subject of Porsches and toys, Lego just might have the perfect Band-Aid for that 911-sized hole in your driveway. Well, maybe not your driveway, but this new set is sure to zhuzh up your standing desk, at least. As part of Porsche’s ongoing partnership with the Danish toy company, its latest collab sees the brickification of the impact bumper Porsche 911 from ...
“Okay, okay I get it!” the Jack Ryan star responds. “No, no, no, she’s right, you better be funny,” MGK chimes in with a hard stare. In the second clip, Gardner asks the MC-turned-pop-punker (born Richard Colson Baker) how he came up with his stage name. “Oh, my mother’s maiden name is Machine Gun,” he jokes. MGK recently released the 50-minute Downfalls High — the companion movie to his Billboard 200 No. 1 album Tickets to My Downfall — which he wrote and directed with Mod Sun and which features frequent collaborator Travis Barker, Sydney Sweeney, Chase Hudson, Trippie Redd, Blackbear, Iann Dior and Maggie Lindemann. A year before her new stand-alone single arrived, Rodrigo released “All I Want,” from Disney+’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, in which she starred. Following the buzz over their I Burn track, “HWAA,” (G)I-DLE released English and Chinese versions of the track on Wednesday (Jan. 27). Like the original, the new renditions channel the same emotion by using fire and flowers as metaphors. “Reddest rеd, all these flowers bloom / When my heart forgets your old distant tune / With my burning flame / I’ll ignite the sun just like the spring has come,” the group sings in the powerful pre-chorus. The first taste from it is comfy/cosy single “Sometimes I Forget,” the music video for which was filmed by director Monika Mogi on Muira Beach, a couple hours south of Tokyo. “I’ve always loved the music he’s sent me and released over those years, and now I’m able to lend a hand in sharing his newest joint,” says Mac of Crick, a multi-instrumentalist who has collaborated with Iggy Pop, Weyes Blood, Kirin J. Callinan and Connan Mockasin. “I helped mix this record, and have heard it probably one thousand times at this point, and still love it.” Mac’s Record Label was announced in early 2019, a partnership with independent distributor Caroline. With his 2012 solo debut, the Rock and Roll Night Club EP, DeMarco busted into the spotlight, equal parts DIY wizz, psychedeli...
Calling the process “innovative,” Grace explained that the project originally began at the end of 2019 but was put on pause because of the Coronavirus pandemic. “I went into the studio pre-Covid with Boi-1da. We immediately hit it off. I had written the first verse and the pre onto a loop he had sent me,” she notes. “Everything else was basically done remotely. Meek Mill jumped on the track later on after listening to the structure we built.” The Estefans were also part of the process “every step of the way.” Grace adds: “Everyone was really focused on maintaining the essence of this iconic track. Having their support and suggestions was beautiful. They approved every single thing on the project. This was really a labor of love and really intentional every step of the way with the original...
