Skillz begins mentioning how the years started off as promising as any. But with Trump getting impeached and the Senate failing to seal the deal, things quickly started going left. He delivered the song via an IGTV video where he includes footage and memes that match up with the bars he spitting. Just last week, Tjay was detained by NYPD cops while he was at a video shoot. However, the cops didn’t find anything in the SUV he was travelling in. However, according to Page Six, on Wednesday (Dec. 30), just a few days after the aforementioned incident, cops found a gang of guns in the Cadillac Escalade the 19-year-old was travelling in after it was pulled over. Reportedly, Tjay, born Tione Merritt, was in the vehicle with four other men when it was pulled over in East New York after failing to signal when switching lanes, per the authorities. TroyBoi Announces Release Date for Fourth Installment of His “V!BEZ” EP Series
Announced on New Year’s Day was the next EP from one of the sharpest production minds in the trap world, TroyBoi. On Twitter, he shared a picture of the EP’s album art and revealed that it would be the fourth entry in his V!BEZ series. Sadly no preview of the sound was shared, but the photo shows a beachside sunset, leading some to believe that the new music would feature a tropical sound. Check out TroyBoi’s announcement below. The move is a direct retaliation to a series of illegal New Year’s Eve raves, the largest of which drew nearly 2,500 attendees across two abandoned warehouses in Brittany, a northwestern region of the country.
