This Christmas, EDM’s wholesome resident softboi Said The Sky took the spirit of giving to a new level, taking to Twitter and Venmo to give back to his fans in need with money for presents for their loved ones. The bluegrass giant, known for his innovative and elegant flatpicking, released dozens of albums dating back to the early 1970s and played alongside such major artists as Dolly Parton and Jerry Garcia. Rice received numerous awards over the decades, including a Grammy in 1993 for best country instrumental performance and was a six-time recipient of the International Bluegrass Music Association’s (IBMA) guitar player of the year honor. His death was confirmed in a statement from the IBMA. Cash tweeted that Rice’s death leaves an “enormous vacancy” in the bluegrass community and that the guitarist “never played a bad note in his life.” Chesney, meanwhile, credited Rice as an inspiration from his childhood and recalled watching the late musician perform at ...
The “Everywhere” singer went on to thank her husband, Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney, as well as her sister, for their support during the difficult time. “But alas, between the crying and binge eating of Christmas cookies, I decided to put on lipstick and a dress. We drank champagne alllll day. Made an incredible meal and sang Christmas songs snuggled up by a roaring fire,” Branch wrote. “Five more days until 2021. I’m limping to the finish line.” Her emotional post included a slideshow of family snapshots, including one of her cozying up to Carney, and others of her toddler son and teenage daughter. “These people, my precious family, my husband, sister and kids have been the MVP’s,” she continued. “I couldn’t imagine spending a year isolated with anyone el...

I’ve learned to redirect or not, so she’s never uncomfortable with her memory loss.” Along with his tweet that day, he shared a home video of the pair bantering. “This was 2 years ago and she’s still sharp today,” he noted. In an interview with the BBC in the summer of 2019, Rodgers said that while caring for his mother, he had become “more involved in her life than I have been since I was 14 years old … It’s really strange because we, right now, seemingly have the best relationship we’ve ever had in our lives.” Remarkably, the legendary musician, co-founder of ...

Source: Catherine McGann / Getty Absolutely no one in their right mind thinks Lil Pump is in the same league as Eminem. Nevertheless, the Trump-supporting rapper dissed Slim Shady, and was promptly read for filth by the rapper’s fellow Detroit native and buddy Royce Da 5’9. You may have seen Lil Pump roll with the tired “Rapper X is old” cliche to try to diss the Hip-Hop legend. “F*ck Eminem, you is lame as hell,” said the “Gucci Gang” struggle rapper. “Ain’t nobody listening to your old ass. You is lame as f*ck bitch.” Sound like he’s still made from when Em hurled a jab his way back in 2018 on “The Ringer.” Afterwards, Royce took to his IG to issue a statement on the matter. “I’ll slap them glasses so far off his face, they’ll land in a whole nother genre…” wrote Nickel Nine. “Not cuz I’...

The asking price of the Neverland property was $100 million in 2016 then dropped to $67 million a year later. In addition to a 12,500 square-foot main residence and a 3,700 square-foot pool house, the property boasts a separate building with a 50-seat movie theater and a dance studio. Other features on the ranch are a “Disney-style” train station, a fire house and barn. Burkle’s spokesman said the billionaire had been eyeing Zaca Lake — which adjoins the property — for a new Soho House, a members-only club with locations in Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Toronto. Burkle ultimately decided the location was too remote and expensive for a club. Burkle is the controlling shareholder of Soho House. After Burkle saw the property from the air, he put in an offer to...
The chart is scheduled to return at an undetermined time early in the new year. Billboard will not be publishing the Social 50 chart, our ranking of the most-engaged-with musician accounts on social media, for an undetermined period of time as we transition to a new data partner. Billboard is currently in talks to revive the Social 50 via a new data partner, with a planned return set for early 2021. Those charts will not be paused during the Social 50’s break from publishing. You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. So we r...
