The old joke about a musician getting to Carnegie Hall has the punchline “practice,” but Phoebe Bridgers made it to the venue in her dreams during a strings-only version of “Kyoto” on The Late Late Show With James Corden. A pajamas-clad Bridgers starts off by singing in bed, microphone in hand, before arising, walking through a smoky doorway… and on to the “stage” at Carnegie Hall. She finishes the song there and at the end, applause begins, flowers are tossed onstage and Bridgers is revealed to be in front of a green screen. Check out the dreamy performance below. This year, she’s also covered the Goo Goo Dolls and Merle Haggard, and released her Copycat Ki...
2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS: New Electric Architecture Mercedes plans to put six EVs on the market by 2022, and at the forefront of the three-pointed star’s electric vehicle pursuits is the EQS sedan. Unlike the GLC-based Mercedes EQC electric crossover, the EQS is due to ride on a dedicated EV platform, dubbed EVA2. It might be the S-Class of Mercedes EVs, but the EQS won’t share its architecture with the brand’s recently redesigned flagship sedan. Although we’ve yet to hear from the German automaker regarding the production EQS’s specifications, we suspect the big EV will initially debut with all-wheel-drive (one electric motor at each axle) and an approximately 100-kWh battery pack. 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS: Big Range See all 27 photos 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS: Deca...

Additionally, the set bows at No. 2 on the Vinyl Albums chart, with 13,000 sold via vinyl LP (64% of the album’s overall first week sales). Meanwhile, Shawn Mendes’ Wonder bows at No. 1 on Top Album Sales with 54,000 copies sold — which aids its No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200. Carrie Underwood’s holiday album My Gift is steady at No. 2 on the Top Album Sales chart with 33,000 sold (up 18...
The clue packages for Sun hinted at a performer who started early, along with lots of references to the color blue and Disney. But it was her peerless voice that really made fans think that the woman behind the mask might be a legendary country star whose unmistakable sound has been in our ears for more than 25 years. And after guesses ranging from Madonna to Idina Menzel and Gwyneth Paltrow, when the solar dust settled, it turned out that the odds-on favorite to win this season was none other than “How Do I Live” singer LeAnn Rimes. The child star, who first rose to national attention at age 8 after appearing on Star Search and broke through at 13 with her multiplatinum debut Blue, was an unstoppable force on the show, and with a win under her belt, she’s ...
The 40-year-old veteran performer whose new solo single, “80’s Movie,” is due out this Friday, hopped on the phone with Billboard before his elimination to talk about why his pink Croc costume was a dead-on emotional choice and how he thinks his Britney cover was the perfect complement to BSB’s recently released collab with their former Jive Records labelmate on “Matches.” Crocodiles have a thick skin, and in the clue packages you alluded to the fact that you’ve had to grow one as a child star coming up in the biz. Why did you choose him and why was he so pink? People who know me, my friends and family and children, know that I’m extremely sensitive and I’m just a lover, and the color pink just popped up for me from the performance side ...

The EUV is a new nameplate—EUV is short for “Electric Utility Vehicle”—and expands Chevy’s EV reach to a second Bolt-badged model. The EUV is larger and taller than the Bolt hatchback; it is nearly six inches longer than the current Bolt sports approximately three inches more space between its wheel centers (which ought to translate into more interior space). This video marks our first look at the EUV’s signature front lighting, which includes sequential front turn signals. General Motors is not the first automaker to use this tech, but the company notes the EUV is the first Chevy to use such a feature. The Bolt EUV rides on the same BEV2 architecture as the Bolt, which means it does not share GM’s new BEV3 electric vehicle architecture, powered by the co...
Source: Jean Baptiste Lacroix / Getty As fans continue to digest Kid Cudi’s latest project, Man On The Moon III: The Chosen, the Cleveland artist gives us a religious experience of a visual in support of his 7th album. In his newest video to “Heaven On Earth,” Cudi creates a short film out of the track which has him ride in an ambulance fighting for his life while his spirit hitches a ride atop the ambulance. Taking ghost riding the whip to a whole new level. Kevin Gates meanwhile ditches the street for a minute to get his grown man board room on for his clip to “Power” in which he wines and dines a professional woman who’s into powerbrokers with tattoos on their faces. In Agzarian’s experience, working alongside likeminded women had fostered creative freedom. She wanted other female artists to have the same experience. Enter singer/songwriter Kota Banks and producer Ninajirachi. Agzarian had been working with both Australian artists since 2017 via NLV Records and saw promise in putting them together in the studio. “It sounds a little maternal,” Agzarian says, “but in this day and age, thanks to the Internet, actual IRL connection to friends that do what you do and like what you like is harder to find, so linking them seemed essential.” This essential pairing also proved prescient, with Banks (born Jessica Mimi Porfiri) and Ninajirachi (born Nina Wilson) together producing their seven-song True North EP.
