Phoebe Bridgers Performs Dreamy Version of ‘Kyoto’ in Her Bed
The old joke about a musician getting to Carnegie Hall has the punchline “practice,” but Phoebe Bridgers made it to the venue in her dreams during a strings-only version of “Kyoto” on The Late Late Show With James Corden. A pajamas-clad Bridgers starts off by singing in bed, microphone in hand, before arising, walking through a smoky doorway… and on to the “stage” at Carnegie Hall. 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS: New Electric Architecture Mercedes plans to put six EVs on the market by 2022, and at the forefront of the three-pointed star’s electric vehicle pursuits is the EQS sedan. Unlike the GLC-based Mercedes EQC electric crossover, the EQS is due to ride on a dedicated EV platform, dubbed EVA2. It might be the S-Class of Mercedes EVs, but the EQS won’t share its architecture with the brand’s recently redesigned flagship sedan. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex inked an exclusive multimillion-dollar deal with the streaming service to produce and host podcasts shows through their production company Archewell Audio. Eddie Money’s Family Sues Hospital Over Rocker’s Death
Rocker Eddie Money’s family is suing the University of Southern California’s Keck Hospital for medical malpractice and wrongful death, according to a lawsuit filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Money, whose real name Edward J. Mahoney, died at the age of 70 Sept. 13, 2019. He’s best known for his hit songs “Two Tickets To Paradise,” Baby Hold On,” “Think I’m in Love” and “Take Me Home Tonight.” Prior to his death, Money had been diagnosed and was being treated for stage 4 esophageal cancer. Money’s family, listed as his heirs to his estate, include his wife Laurie Harris Mahoney and his children Jessica, Zachary, Edward, Desmond and Matthew, filed this 11-page complaint alleging that doctors and medical personnel at USC’s Keck Hospital failed to properly diagnose...
