The 2021 Mazda CX-30 2.5 Turbo will run $6,600 more than an equivalent non-turbo CX-30 with all-wheel drive, starting at a rich (for something this size) $31,000. That price difference reflects the comparison of AWD-to-AWD CX-30s, because Mazda will only sell you a CX-30 2.5 Turbo with all-wheel drive. Factor in the even cheaper front-drive non-turbo CX-30, which starts at only $23,000, and the price gap between the least-expensive non-turbo CX-30 and the least-expensive CX-30 2.5 Turbo swells to $8,000. Punk Renaissance man Iggy Pop has shared a French rendition of Elvis Costello’s “No Flag,” a single from Costello’s Hey Clockface album. The en Français cover is accompanied by an animated music video hand-drawn by Arlo McFurlow and Eamon Singer.  The legendary musicians, who first met in 1977, recently reminisced via Zoom about the past, present and future for Rolling Stone. With both Moderna and Pfizer applying for emergency use authorization for their COVID-19 vaccines that have both proven to be highly effective against the virus, the CDC is held a vote to determine who would be first in line to get the potential life-saving shot. In a 13-1 vote held on Tuesday (Dec.1), a panel comprised of CDC experts agreed that first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine should go to healthcare workers on the frontline and nursing home residents as soon as the FDA gives the okay. Interpol raises the alarm over fake coronavirus vaccines

The International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL) has alerted Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, and 190 other countries of threat from organised criminal groups during the upcoming COVID-19 vaccination campaigns, including fake vaccines and the theft of supplies. The alert came as the UK yesterday became the first country in the world to approve the Pfizer/BioNTech coronavirus vaccine for widespread use. The need for a vaccine has become more urgent globally and nationally with Nigeria recording over 67,000 COVID-19 infections and over 1,000 associated fatalities, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
