Tuff Crowd: Meek Mill Deletes Social Media After Trying To Unify Philly Rappers

Source: Prince Williams / Getty Meek Mill attempted to use his platform for good but was met with a portion of the same negativity he was hoping to combat. In the wake of a barrage of insults and such after calling for unity in Philadelphia, Meek deleted his social media in what appears to be a bid to walk away from the situation. As we reported on Monday (Nov. 16), Meek Mill issued a public call to the end of gun violence after the shooting death of Mo3, and the gunshot wounds suffered by Boosie Badazz and Benny The Butcher over the past week. “I’ll get all the main big artist in Philly a deal if they put them bodies behind them and squash them beefs …I hear about ….got some hot young bulls from my city but they all beefing,” Meek wrote in the now-deleted tweet. Art Direction by Skyler Durden By the time this double review of Chris Crack‘s latest releases is completed, it wouldn’t be shocking to learn he’s already got another two records in the stash ready to be unleashed. With Washed Rappers Ain’t Legends and Haters Forget They Were Fans First, the prolific Chicago rapper and singer is back to his usual high-quality craftwork of soulful, R&B-tinged Hip-Hop. Of the pair, Washed Rappers Ain’t Legend dropped at the top of November after Crack teased its release but only fans got one of his albums, Thanks Uncle Trill, to a million plays on Spotify. In his usual fashion, WRAL doesn’t deviate from Crack’s propensity to throw everything in his arsenal at the wall and what sticks is typically the entire bulk ...

How to Watch the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 392 V-8 Reveal

Jeep engineers like to have fun. So, the brand’s decision to stuff a big 6.4-liter V-8 engine under the hood of a Wrangler and unveiling it as the Rubicon 392 concept didn’t strike us as much of a surprise. After all, this is the same brand that regularly rolls out wild concept trucks and SUVs it has no plans of mass-producing as part of the Easter Jeep Safari. The Rubicon 392 seemed to us like just another such concept vehicle—an awesome idea that was unlikely to reach production or one left to the aftermarket (which has been providing V-8–powered Wranglers for years). Boy, were we wrong. Jeep formally announced its plans to unveil the salable 2021 Jeep Wrangler 392 on November 17, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern time. It’s really happening. So, what can we expect from this latest addit...

Mini Vision Urbanaut Concept First Look: Mini Takes on #VanLife

Launched in 1959, the original Mini revolutionized automotive design. With its engine mounted transversely across the front of the car and driving the front wheels, the Mini’s space-efficient mechanical layout became the blueprint for small and medium-size cars the world over. The second-generation Mini, launched in 2001 by BMW, was a digitally remastered homage to the original’s cheeky design that also amped up its fun-to-drive dynamics. BMW’s new Mini Vision Urbanaut concept is less a car than a lounge on disco-lit wheels. Think of the Urbanaut as a small minivan stuffed with a hipster loft interior. According to BMW, it has a “daybed” and a “street balcony” at the front and a “cosy corner” at the rear. Pop a token into one of three slots on the ...

Hulu’s Tekashi 6ix9ine Struggle Documentary Is Low Quality Just Like His Bars

Source: PYMCA / Getty To many a Hip-Hop head, Tekashi 6ix9ine has always been considered a “struggle rapper” regardless of how many times he topped the Billboard charts or how much money he earned with his mediocre records. His lyrical content has always been linked to the struggle and now he has a documentary to match. According to Yahoo, Hulu quietly released their Tekashi 6ix9ine documentary, ’69: The Saga of Danny Hernandez is the kind of mess you’d expect from a rapper who’s seemingly been all over the place in his young and short career. Directed by Vikram Gandhi, the documentary delves deep into the somewhat public life of the 24-year-old Brooklyn rapper and though it seems to be informative, it also lacks the kind of inside information that would make ...

Woman Accused Of Setting Up Mo3’s Murder Speaks Out

Source: Alberto E. Rodriguez / Getty For whatever reason, it seems like rappers have become easy targets in the state of Texas. This comes as Mo3, Boosie Badazz, and Benny The Butcher have all been shot in the past week with Mo3 having lost his life in what some assumed was a set-up in the Lone Star State. Now after being the subject of rumors that she had something to do with the death of Mo3, the woman who was with Mo before he was killed has spoken out on her Facebook page after being radio silent since his shocking murder. Speaking like someone who’d known Mo3 for a minute and the work he put in to get into the music game, the young woman in question wrote, “Damn MoMo Ion think I ever cried like this before. I was rooting for you & you had so much more to show the world...

Rapper Lil Wayne has been charged in Miami federal court with possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. If convicted, the maximum penalty is 10 years in prison. The charge, brought by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, was filed in connection with an incident last year in December when, as the Miami Herald wrote, the rapper flew to Miami on a private jet which was searched by federal authorities who found drugs and a gun on the plane.
