Late Civil Rights Icon John Lewis’s Former County Divinely Flips Georgia Blue

Source: Jessica McGowan / Getty Former House Representative John Lewis may have passed, but it’s clear his spirit lives on after his former county helped deal a devastating blow to current sitting President, Donald Trump‘s campaign. On Friday (Nov 6) the civil rights icon’s county in Georgia tipped Democratic nominee Joe Biden into the lead in the state as mail-in ballots, continued to be counted from the area. As previously reported, at about 4:30 a.m. on Friday, a release of ballots counted in Clayton County gave Biden a lead of 917 votes in the Southern state, pushing his lead out to 1,096 votes after another batch of ballot results came in at about 6 a.m. As the votes continued to be counted from surrounding counties including Fulton, DeKalb, and Chatham, helped boost Biden ahead of Tr...

By 2030, Bentley Will No Longer Sell Any Internal-Combustion Engines

Bentley today announced an aggressive transformation, from a company that has seen great success selling vehicles powered by massive internal combustion engines to one that will not sell any—all in slightly less than a decade. This will happen in two steps: a phase-in of electrification, and a few years later, a complete phase-out of internal combustion engines. Bentley will be a fully battery-electric vehicle company by 2030. No more W-12 engines, no more V-8s or turbos—just the silent thrust provided by flowing electrons. The company, like many others, has hinted at an electric direction for years. In 2017, for example, the company showed off the slinky but ponderously-named EXP 12 Speed 6e convertible concept. And more poignantly, the EXP 100 GT concept was revealed last year for the co...

Carl Cox Opens Up About Mental Health in Candid Interview: “I’m Fine, But I’m Not Happy”

Famous DJs may have money and fame, but at the end of the day, they are human and they deal with the same issues as the rest of us. No amount of money can remedy a bout with mental illness—a notion that sometimes eludes music fans, many of whom jaw at artists having no idea what they are going through at any given moment. Just because you don’t live in a glass house, doesn’t mean you should throw stones at those who do. In a new interview with Music on my Mind, a campaign created to raise funds and awareness for mental health in the music community, dance music veteran Carl Cox opened about his own experiences over the years. Cox, who has been DJing for the last four decades, waxed poetic about his current mental state, the UK government’s insulting COVID-19 response...

However, the CNN host took a jab at the defiant President Donald Trump, calling him an “obese turtle in the process. Holy WTF: Aznom Palladium “Hyperlimousine” Is a Ram 1500 Pickup…Luxury Sedan?!

The Aznom Palladium is likely one of the strangest “cars” you’ve never heard of until now. Just released, it’s a follow-up to an earlier—and more bizarre—attempt at the same concept, the Atulux, seen below. That $300,000+ creation—yes, three-hundred thousand dollars—transformed a last-generation Ram pickup into a sedan-like luxury vehicle with an opulent interior, but its truck roots were obvious from every angle. The Palladium aims to perfect the formula. See all 13 photos Aznom is based in Monza, Italy, and that’s where the Palladium was designed and will be produced. Italy is home to some of the world’s most iconic design houses, automotive or otherwise, but few coachbuilders have produced a project this idiosyncratic. The company is the pet project o...
