Way before the best-selling Ford F-150 pickup truck, there was the now classic F-1. The postwar pickup was in production from 1948 to 1952 and sported an egg-shaped cab with a toothy grille, plus a short but functional bed. In 1951, FoMoCo gave it a refresh: The gearshift was relocated from the floor to the steering column and the single-bar grille now featured three bigger teeth. It already looks pretty mean to us, but that’s where Dave Kindig’s vision for the truck starts on the “Thank You for Your Service” episode of Bitchin’ Rides. Our goateed designer and host plans to offset the front grille 3 inches, stretch and shave the cramped cab, and add an hourglass bed. Kindig wants to make every last line look like it’s going fast for the clients, Mark and...
New mama Nicki Minaj is fierce as ever, dropping a fiery new collaboration with NBA YoungBoy and Mike Will Made-It on Friday (Nov. 6). The song, “What That Speed Bout,” finds the collaborators trading verses over a dynamic beat. The accompanying music video features Minaj while she was still pregnant, decked in a lime green two-piece set and metallic thigh-high boots, with her baby bump on display. YoungBoy matches the futuristic aesthetic in a white vest over a blue and white mesh long sleeve shirt. You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. Nicks has been back in the news and the charts of late, thanks to Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” going viral in a TikTok clip. Speaking to fellow antipodean Zane Lowe on Apple Music earlier this week, Kylie shared her vision for a Disco tour, whenever that may be. “It’s a dreamscape right now, the idea of touring, if, when, how, if, when, why, what. But my vision I have, whether this would come to be or not, is usually the concert is… I’ve never performed in the Round,” she enthused. The Melbourne native imagines “the biggest disco ball ever made” dominating the ultimate superclub. “And I just would love the idea of a show where almost people don’t feel like they have to look at what’s going on on stage. We’re just all at a big nightclub.” The pop princess performed songs from it during last month’s global streaming event Kylie: Infinite Disco, co-directed by Kate Moross and Rob...
Should Biden complete a come-from-behind win, Isbell tweeted, “I’m gonna make a charity covers album of my favorite Georgia songs- REM, Gladys Knight, Vic Chesnutt, Allmans, Cat Power, Precious Bryant, Now It’s Overhead, etc… And damn is that gonna be fun.” The Alabama native’s offer captured Twitter’s heart and got a lot of love from the artist community. Richard Marx responded, “F—ing love this.” Brandi Carlile chimed in and asked if they could do “Kid Fears” by the Indigo Girls and Jason would sing the Michael Stipe part. Don’t bet against that charity covers album coming to fruition. At 2.45am ET, president Trump’s lead over Biden in Georgia narrowed to just 665 votes, with a few thousand ballots yet to be counted. Isbell is known for his solo career, his work with The 400 ...
Source: Shareif Ziyadat / Getty As the world continues to wait on pins and needles over the 2020 election humor is in high demand right now. One reality television star got some comedic relief from a misfired tweet. As spotted on Hot New Hip Hop a meme with good intentions didn’t connect as intended but went viral as a funny fail. An account @Vesta shared a photo collage that featured Joe Budden one side and a pile of pennies on the other side. The quote was “a lot of y’all are lacking” inferring that folks need some common sense. Given that the photo should have been rapper Common, who says he and Tiffany Haddish are still a thing, the miss quickly turned the meme into a whole different meme. So much so that it landed on Cyn Santana’s radar. The “Walk With Me” rapper’s former love qu...
Whoa! Raise your hand if you saw System of a Down releasing new music this year — especially after the political back-and-forth between singer Serj Tankian and drummer John Dolmayan. On Friday, the band released a pair of new songs in “Protect the Land” and “Genocidal Humanoidz.” The band united to show support for their native Armenia, which is currently embroiled in a conflict with Azerbaijan. Listen to the songs below. Earlier this year, we spoke with Tankian about his new electronic solo album and it compares to Toxicity. Here’s what the band had to say about the release: You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. So we reimagined what a dating should be. Polestar is working through a few kinks with its 2 sedan lately, and this recall for faulty inverters represents the second large recall for the new Swedish electric vehicle in as many months. Last time, a software bug could cause the vehicle to lose power and stop driving. This time, the faulty inverters could cause the same issue, but for a different reason. There’s also a “service campaign” involving the cabin (and battery) heater. The inverter is a critical component in EVs, transforming the direct current stored in the 78-kWh battery pack into alternating current that’s utilized by the car’s two electric motors, which are good for a total system output of 408 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque. Polestar states 4,586 vehicles with this issue have been de...
Back in September, Miley Cyrus appeared on the Tonight Show to perform her new single at the time, “Midnight Sky.” On the show, she told host Jimmy Fallon that she received a letter from Stevie Nicks after asking to use a sample of her track 1981 track, “Edge of Seventeen” on “Midnight City.” And now? The two have joined forces on a remix of “Midnight Sky” aptly titled “Edge of Midnight (Midnight Sky Remix).” And yes, she samples Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen.” Listen below. [embedded content] This is the year Cyrus embraced classic rock. Last month, she revealed that she was working on a Metallica covers album. She also performed a version of Pearl Jam’s “Just Breathe” as well. Cyrus’ new album, Plastic Hearts, is out on Nov. 27. Listen to it here. You Deserve to Make...

San Holo is taking a step back from social media. The future bass powerhouse and bitbird founder has announced that he is taking a much-needed break from his phone. Amid a dumpster fire of a year that doesn’t seem to be getting any better any time soon—thanks in part to social media—our mental health is of the utmost importance right now. Sometimes it’s cathartic to unplug from it all. “I just wanted to let you know that I’m putting my phone down for a few weeks, to clear my mind and live in the moment a little more,” San Holo wrote in a handwritten letter, which he shared via Twitter. “Let’s start a new chapter soon!” Despite San Holo’s hiatus, fans can find solace in the notion that he will emerge from it with a refreshed pa...
