Former Creed drummer Scott Phillips – a member of AlterBridge, along with ex-Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti and bassist Brian Marshall since 2004 – has said that Creed’s reforming is a “possibility.” That’s not a threat either. In the Nov. 4 interview with site audioinkradio.com, the drummer gave a nebulous quote informing that there’s “always talk every now and then of the possibility of us getting back together and doing some stuff.” The journalist, Anne Erickson, asked Phillips about a potential reunion since Creed recently updated their social media with a classic photo. Phillips was unaware of that move by his former band, replying, “That’s interesting. I’m the worst when it comes to social media. We’re all in a good spot right now where we feel like we have a good relationsh...

Justin Bieber’s Former Spiritual Advisor Carl Lentz Fired From Hillsong Church For ‘Moral Failures’

“They have a heart for people and we are confident that after a time of rest and restoration, God will use Carl in another way outside of Hillsong church,” continued the statement, which noted that no further public comment would be forthcoming. “It would not be appropriate for us to go into detail about the events that led to this decision.” Lentz had been a pastor at the Manhattan Hillsong church since 2010 and famously baptized Bieber — whom the pastor referred to by the nickname “Buckaroo” — in the bathtub of New York Knicks star Tyson Chandler’s Manhattan home according to a 2015 GQ profile, which also noted that Bieber briefly moved in with Lentz in 2014. “And that is an image that will stick with you, let me tell you: ...

Land Rover Defender V-8: Two States of Tune and Available in the SWB 90

The Land Rover Defender is hot. (Just ask our 2021 SUV of the Year Judges, including yours truly.) Looking around Los Angeles with our eyeballs on the anecdotal pulse, the British SUV will be the must-have vehicle this winter. And if L.A., which still defines car culture, is craving the things, soon your town will, too. That said, the global pandemic has slowed everything down, including supply chains, meaning Land Rover is scrambling to build enough to meet demand. As hot as the Defender may be, though, the excellent SUV is just getting started. There’s only one Defender you can buy in the States right now, the Defender 110 with a turbocharged inline-six engine. By late February or early March, Americans will be able to purchase a Defender 90 with the same engine or the gas-fir...

This Ford Ranger Race Truck Is a Raptor-Flavored Track Rat

Ford Thailand is showing off its new Ford Thailand Racing (FTR) Ranger race truck, and it looks the business, with a bold blue livery, some intense aero aids, and . . . a 3.2-liter inline-five turbodiesel engine? This definitely isn’t the sort of race truck we’re used to here in the States, one built for track work rather than desert blasting, but it only takes a few minutes of watching some of the Thailand Super Series Super Pickup class competition to realize this truck series is a lot of fun. Remember, Ford has deep truck roots in Thailand, and manufactures the Ranger there. In fact, the Ranger Raptor made its global debut in Thailand back in 2018. But while this was once a regular production four-door Ranger, it’s not that anymore, although it is based on a real Range...

Canada’s SOCAN Reports Growth In 2019, Distributions Shrink Due to Tech Rollout

Finally, the company says that mechanical royalties totaled C$12 million ($9 million) last year. As part of its results, the company acknowledged that its move to diversify beyond performance rights collections begun in 2016 has not worked out to its satisfactions.
