Lindsey Buckingham Hops on the ‘Dreams’ TikTok Challenge

This one felt inevitable. After his former bandmates Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks joined TikTok following Nathan Apodaca’s viral “Dreams” moment, Lindsey Buckingham got in on the action. In a video posted on his newly-created account, Buckingham shared his interpretation of the challenge, noting it was shot over the weekend by his girls. The 15-second clip sees the ex-Fleetwood Mac guitarist on a horse sipping Ocean Spray from a bottle. See it below (and hope that it’s the end of this challenge). The “Dreams” moment turned Apodaca into a star and saw interest in Fleetwood Mac surge. The Damned Reunite With Original Lineup for 2021 Tour

The Damned have been releasing albums (most recently The Rockfield Files EP on Oct. 16) and touring (2018 was their last U.S. jaunt), but without all of the original members. The classic founding lineup —Dave Vanian, Rat Scabies, Captain Sensible and Brian James — have reunited for the first time in more than two decades to celebrate the 45th anniversary of their first single “New Rose.” Guitarist James, who was also in Lords of the New Church, left the band in 1991 and drummer Scabies left in 1996. The song features Young on vocals and guitar and Tim Drummond on bass. The duo produced the track as well. “Dreams” has surged thanks to the viral TikTok video featuring the song, in which Idahoan Nathan Apodaca rides his longboard while drinking a large bottle of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice. The video became so popular that the band’s Mick Fleetwood and Nicks have since created their own tribute clips. Ocean Spray even gifted Apodaca a red pickup truck (filled with bottles of Ocean Spray juice). As a member of Fleetwood Mac and as a soloist, Nicks has a longstanding history on Billboard‘s charts.
