Even though the Tesla Model 3 has only been with us for a few model years, it is still a work in progress on the quality control front. But for 2021, the smallest and least expensive Tesla you can buy is getting a host of updates. Tesla quietly updated their consumer site with some of the improvements listed here, but the interior changes were sent to us by someone who works at a Tesla store. The most notable changes are to the car’s range, and these were in the updates to Tesla’s website. In 2020, the base Model 3 had 250 miles of range and it topped out at 322 miles, while the Performance-trimmed cars were able to go 299 miles on a single charge. For 2021, the base Model 3 now has 263 miles of range, the Performance models can go 315 miles, and the long-range cars see a major...
The singer, who recently collaborated with Lady Gaga for Mother Monster’s “Rain on Me,” last released an album in 2019. Thank U, Next dropped in February that year, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Producer Tommy Brown earlier seemingly hinted at the upcoming new album. On Oct. 10, he shared a photo of himself with Grande on Instagram and captioned it, “6****.” Earlier this year, during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, the singer noted that she had put together a home studio, but added that fans shouldn’t expect new music anytime soon. “I don’t really feel comfortable putting anything out right now, because it’s just like other than this, it’s a really tricky time for all of that,” Grande explained....
Tickets for the concert are currently available through Ticketmaster in “pods of 4 people or less” to ensure social distancing, Three 6 Mafia wrote on IG, adding that the show was approved by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. Rapper Project Pat is scheduled to open the concert. Since the COVID-19 pandemic struck earlier this year, thousands of tours and festivals around the world have been postponed or canceled in an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus. For the upcoming Three 6 Mafia show, Rupp Arena’s 21,017 capacity will be limited to 15 percent, which amounts to 3,152 concert-goers and event staff, ABC’s WTVQ reports. In addition to required face coverings, the fans in attendance will be subject to temperature checks upon entry. “We have been in contact with t...

“What U Want ???” he added. It’s unclear whether Quavo was hinting at wanting a partnership with the fast food company or just showing off his favorite lunch. Travis Scott had a limited edition partnership with McDonald’s — with a meal consisting of a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon and extra lettuce, a medium order of fries with BBQ sauce and a Sprite — that helped boost sales over the summer, and there’s currently a J Balvin pick (a Big Mac, a medium order of fries with ketchup and an Oreo McFlurry) available through Nov. 1. When Eddie Van Halen died on Oct. 6, tributes flew in from just about everywhere. But one of the many things that has put a damper on 2020 (beyond the million other obvious ones) is that with the few live shows taking place, a slew of proper, fiery cover versions of Van Halen songs hasn’t really happened. At their socially-distanced show in Southern California last night, Third Eye Blind performed what seems to be the first live tribute to the guitar legend. The band opened up their show (which featured folks watching from their cars) with a version of “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love” from VH’s self-titled 1978 debut. It’s pretty standard as compared to the original, but nonetheless, it’s a solid tribute done by Stephan Jenkins and company. Check it out below. [embedded content] You De...

The National’s Matt Berninger released his debut solo album Serpentine Prison yesterday and celebrated by performing three of its tracks on CBS This Morning’s “Saturday Sessions.” The singer and his backing band played the album’s title track, along with “One More Second” and “Collar Of Your Shirt,” live from their studio. Watch all three performances below. [embedded content] [embedded content] [embedded content] Berninger worked with Booker T. Jones on Serpentine Prison and originally went into the project hoping to make a covers album before sharing “orphan songs” with the famed producer. “It didn’t start out as a solo thing. It started out as, I wanted to do a bunch of covers just to learn how to sing better, and I wanted to work with [producer] Booker T. Jones,” B...
Source: KLH49 / Getty The 40-Year-Old Version, one of the best films released this year from director and playwright Radha Blank, highlights the hidden and overt instances of racism in the theater industry. In a new profile piece, Blank and 39 of her Black colleagues share instances of when they’ve faced the same over the course of their careers. The Los Angeles Times published an excellent account of 40 playwrights, including Blank, who all share when they’ve been met with the looming specter of racism while pitching and attempting to bring their stories to life. The profile opens by mentioning a pivotal scene in The 40-Year-Old Version where the main character, played by Blank, is confronted with the passive racist barbs of a Broadway producer. With over three dozen accounts of these bra...

According to the rap group, which currently consists of Juicy J and DJ Paul, masks will be required and tickets will be sold in pods of four people or less to ensure social distancing. Project Pat is slated to be a special guest. The show will be hosted by Sean Da Don, and Gem and Real Gates are also set to...
Six months after revealing he was temporarily paralyzed due to COVID-19 complications, Christopher Cross is detailing his harrowing battle with the disease for the first time. The yacht rock crooner sat down with CBS Sunday Morning to tell his story. “There was some, you know, come-to-Jesus moments or whatever, where I was looking for any help I could get … to get out of this thing, because I wasn’t sure,” he admitted. Cross contracted COVID-19 during a trip to Mexico City with his girlfriend. After falling ill for three weeks in April, the 69-year-old felt well enough to go grocery shopping. When he returned home, his legs gave out. The singer was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome — a condition that causes your body to attack your nerves — that doctors believe was caused by...
Insomniac has announced an in-person Halloween festival in Florida amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Boo! Orlando is scheduled for Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st at Orlando’s Lot 54 at The Vanguard. Friday night will feature performances from Carnage, Loud Luxury, SayMyName, ATLiens, and Jinx while Saturday’s billing boasts Valentino Khan, Nitti Gritti, Schade, Sloth, and a yet-to-be-named surprise artist. As those in the live music industry continue to experience the pitfalls of the virus’ impact, shows like this may become more frequent in the coming months. It’s important to note that a lot of artists depend on booking fees to generate income, and since streaming isn’t exactly a cash cow, many of them feel they must resume to...
