R. Kelly Will Get New Trial Date In December Due To Coronavirus Pandemic

Per Yahoo News, on Tuesday (Oct. 13), a judge said the disgraced R&B singer will find out when he goes on trial for sexual assault, among other charges, in December. Reportedly, the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer’s trial was originally set to start on Tuesday in Chicago. However, it was delayed after witnesses noted problems in travelling to the city due to coronavirus restrictions. According to District Judge Harry Leinenweber, he will be setting a new trial date on December 16. Kelly still remains in jail at Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicagosince he has not been granted bail. SSC Reportedly Attempted a Top-Speed Run of Its Claimed 300+MPH Hypercar
The Pahrump Valley Times is reporting that Highway 160 was shut down this past weekend by the Nevada Department of Transportation for what appears to be a high-speed run of the SSC Tuatara. While the company confirmed to MotorTrend that it has been conducting frequent high-speed testing of its cars as part of the Tuatara’s development process, SSC representatives have been mum on what exactly occurred in Nevada that resulted in a public road closure. The first customer example of the $1.6 million Tuatara was delivered back in February after an extended gestation period of nearly a decade. After releasing a snippet of “Believe What I Say,” sampling Lauryn Hill’s “Doo-Wop (That Thing),” West has now dropped a new freestyle track. “Nah Nah Nah,” which appeared on social media into the early hours of Wednesday morning (Oct. 14), delves into his current run for U.S. president, the podcast appearance with Nick Cannon and his contract dispute with Universal Music Group.
