Normani Supports Her Mom After Breast Cancer Returns: ‘We Got This Mommy’
Normani‘s mother is battling breast cancer again, and the singer has two words of support: “f–k cancer.” That’s what ‘Mani tweeted on Sunday (Oct. 11), just hours after her mother revealed the news. Late superstar guitarist Eddie Van Halen has a New York City subway stop named after him, in a temporary, guerilla-style homage to the shredder’s massive musical influence. Quarantine cover series Two Minutes to Late Night pays homage to Halloween by covering Ozzy Osbourne’s 1982 solo hit, “Over The Mountain.” The ever-shifting metal consortium who performs the true-to-the-original cover is Mastodon’s Brann Dailor, Darkest Hour/Be Well’s Mike Schleibaum, Kvelertak’s Marvin Nygaard, Baroness’ Seb Thomson, and host Gwarsenio Hall. The original of the tune featured late, great guitarist Randy Rhoads.
