As COVID-19 numbers continue to grow, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that some pretty well-known public figures likely had contracted the virus. You can add Tool/A Perfect Circle/Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan to that unfortunate list. In an interview with AZ Central, Keenan told the paper that he had contracted COVID-19 in February and that the virus was just as bad as you’d expect. “It was ugly,” the singer admitted, “I survived it, but it wasn’t pretty.” Even though time has passed, Keenan said that he continues to deal with the side effects of the virus, including constant coughing. “I still have the cough. Every other day, I have these coughing fits because my lungs are still damaged at the tips. And I just got over the inflammation that was going o...
Todd Rundgren has teamed up with Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo for a new single, “Down With The Ship.” The duo shared writing and vocal roles on the track, which draws inspiration from reggae and African rhythms. Rundgren, in a statement, describes the song as “just a little parable about what happens when you align yourself with a treacherous leader.” Check out the collab below. [embedded content] The tune is the second installment from Rundgren’s forthcoming album Space Force, which is being released to digital platforms as individual singles, each with its own unique artwork, every three or four weeks. The entire album is slated for an early 2021 release. Last year, Rundgren performed a cover of the Weezer hit “Hash Pipe,” which you can hear here. You Deserve to Make Money Even When...

The extension means that Broadway will be closed for more than a year by the time it reopens in 2021. “With nearly 97,000 workers who rely on Broadway for their livelihood and an annual economic impact of $14.8 billion to the city, our membership is committed to re-opening as soon as conditions permit us to do so. We are working tirelessly with multiple partners on sustaining the industry once we raise our curtains again,” Broadway League president Charlotte St. Martin said in a statement. New York was initially hit hard by the pandemic, with as many as 11,000 new cases a day in April, before a robust response led to a drop below 1,000 new cases a day for three months from June-September. In recent weeks, however, a number of zip codes in New York City and the state as a whole have seen sp...
Yungblud is hoping to send a message of hope and confidence on “Cotton Candy,” a sexual liberation anthem from his upcoming second album, Weird! (Nov. 13). The jangly pop tune is the fourth taste of the singer’s next full-length, and follows “God Save Me, But Don’t Drown Me Out,” “Strawberry Lipstick” and the title track. “And I wanna get stuck between your teeth like cotton candy/ So you’ll remember me, darling,” he sings on the pre-chorus over a rubbery baseline and steady beat. “I’m losing myself in you/ And you, and you, and you, and you, I know/ I’m losing myself in you/ And you, and you, and you, and you, I know.” You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. Injecting new life into last year’s summer hit, Reykon recruited Becky G and Tyga for a new “Latina” remix that dropped Friday (Oct. 9), along with an animated music video. “To be able to gather all these people in one song is extraordinary,” Reykon tells Billboard. “People liked the song with Maluma and now to have these artists join us, it’s an honor. Becky G has been representing women with her incredible talent and Tyga is the rapper of the moment with whom I’ve had a great musical chemistry. We are already parceros!” You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are...
Source: SEBASTIAN SMITH / Getty Kanye West is still putting his hat in the ring as a presidential hopeful by debuting his official campaign merch. On Wednesday (Oct. 9), during the 2020 Vice Presidential Debate, Kanye West premiered his campaign gear via Twitter after tweeting that both of the current VP nominees “needed to get merch first.” The limited line, which consists of a myriad of hats, hoodies, and t-shirts, features two slogans, one of which says “God Save America” and the second a very blunt call to action urging fans to “Vote Kanye.” For fans who would like a hat instead, the “Good Life” rapper features hats with the slogan, “Kanye 2020 Vision.” In addition to releasing new campaign apparel, West also outlined the 10 pillars of his campaign, with each benchmark paired with a re...

Source: The Outlaw Ocean Project / The Outlaw Ocean Project The Outlaw Ocean book from author Ian Urbina became a New York Times bestseller after its release last year, putting a focus on the lawlessness committed on the high seas with reporting taking place over a five-year period. Urbina’s journalistic bent as an investigative reporter pushed him to record sounds while at sea, thus spawning The Outlaw Ocean Music Project, which has released Friday (Oct. 9) a new collection of original works built upon Urbina’s recordings. With the tagline “Making Music From Journalism,” the combination of the real-life and harrowing scenarios Urbina faced abroad and transforming them into audio compositions makes The Outlaw Ocean Music Project unique on its surface from the onset. Even though Audi has been around since 1969, the brand’s first-ever rear-wheel-drive car came out in 2018. It was the R8 RWS, a limited-edition, less expensive version of the R8 sports car that lacked front drive shafts, weighed a whole lot less than the standard all-wheel-drive model, and had slightly less power. Audi has already repeated the RWS formula with the facelifted R8 that came out last year, but for 2021 the automaker is bringing it stateside as a regular member of the R8 lineup. The rear-drive Audi R8 will once again serve as the entry point to the R8 range, and it will come in both coupe and topless Spyder forms—the latter being an option unavailable on the limited-run R8 RWS last time around. The entry-level, non-Performance-spec Audi R8s are dead for 2021, meaning if y...
The most obvious changes are the brand new driver’s area, the addition of a fully digital driver’s display that the brand is calling the Acura Precision Cockpit, and a brand new central tunnel that contains a drive mode selector much like the one found in the NSX supercar. Another massive screen sits atop the dashboard, revealing a reworked infotainment system that’s more elegant than before. Other photos reveal the new look to the seats. There’s now more detailing in the way of contrasting stitching and piping, as well as intricate quilting. It also looks like there are tiny holes for seat ventilation, too. The leather with the contrasting piping continues into the second (and perhaps even the third) row of the new MDX. See all 6 photos Lastly there’s a look ...
