New AC/DC Album Will Include Malcolm Young’s Song Contributions

While AC/DC fans are still awaiting the official announcement about the band’s new album, the group’s longtime recording engineer, Mike Fraser, offered some new details about the upcoming project that confirms song contributions from the late Malcolm Young. Fraser told the AC/DCFans.Net podcast: Angus kinda came into this with a lot of ideas and riffs and not too many completed songs. But that was similar on [2014’s] Rock Or Bust. Because him and Malcolm [Young] had written tons of songs before Mal got sick and eventually passed away. So he’s got a whole treasure trove of ideas and riffs and all that. So he’s probably spent a few years before we came in to do this record pooling ideas together and all that, and then when he came into the studio here, he just sat down with a whole suit...

Cyberpunk 2077’s Dystopian Quadra Sports Car Becomes Reality

Drink too many Rockstar Energy drinks while playing video games and you just might find yourself confusing the digital world with the real one. That’s one theory behind the creation of this video game car come to life. Another is that it simply looked too rad to leave to the virtual realm. Dubbed the Quadra, this seemingly post-apocalyptic sports car cribs its name and styling from vehicles featured in the upcoming (and highly anticipated) video game Cyberpunk 2077, an open-world action title set in a dystopian city. Credit Rockstar Energy’s Rockstar Performance Garage for bringing the Quadra to life. Biden Campaign Enlists Jermaine Dupri, Ludacris for ‘Get Out The Vote’ Ads

“If you’ve been out marching in these streets, exercise your rights. You now need to exercise your right to vote,” Ludacris says in one of the ads. At the same time the campaign has also been expanding its “Shop Talk” discussion series, which aims to address the challenges facing Black men across the country. Panelists have included Dupri, actor Terrence J and Don Cheadle, among others. “If there wasn’t a pandemic in place, the campaign would be in barbershops across the country, we would be there in person, talking to people, touching people’s hands, and having this dialogue,” Terrence J tells THR, adding that the dialogues the campaign put together are the next best thing. “For me, these conversations are incredible.” “Our campaign is...

Tommy Lee Reveals He ‘Was Drinking 2 Gallons’ of Vodka a Day: ‘I Was Drinking Out of Boredom’

“I literally did nothing. I would just float around drink and f–king drink! And what’s crazy, I didn’t notice it until towards the end of it when I was like, ‘Oh, dude, I gotta stop. This is f–king insane,'” he explained. “I was drinking out of boredom. I would just wake up and build all vodka and a little eyedropper of cranberry or lemonade or something — literally straight vodka. I was drinking 2 gallons — not pints — gallons, the big handles, A DAY. That’s f–king crazy!” “What’s important is I realized, ‘Whoa, dude, you’re drinking enough to like, you could probably die.’ And it wasn’t even phasing me,” he admitted. “I just became immune to it, and realized...

Halsey Supports Wealth Tax & Voting for Joe Biden in Conversation With Bernie Sanders: Watch

Halsey then opened up about growing up in a “lower class family” and now living in “the one percent,” and how that has shaped her views. “My parents dropped out of college to have me, my father is a person of color, my mother is white, and we grew up in really, really underprivileged situations,” she explained. “My parents had access to medical assistance. I grew up in those scenarios. And now, as an adult, at 26 years old, I’m part of the one percent.” She went on to voice support for a wealth tax and criticize those who are against the idea. “Having that sort of shift in perspective, given the ability to kind of see things from both sides, there’s one thing that I know for a fact. It’s that for me, personally, there ...

Halsey and Bernie Sanders Sit Down to Discuss the Wealth Tax and Billionaires

Way back on Sept. 30 — which may as well be eons ago but in reality was the day after the first presidential debate — Halsey sat down with former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders for the first in what she bills as an “intimate conversation to discuss the future of America, some of the most important issues facing our nation and why they’ll be voting for Joe Biden this November.” In the chat that was titled “Greed & the Wealth Tax,” the debate (Halsey says is “arguably one of the most frustrating pieces of television that I’ve ever had the misfortune of witnessing”) and Halsey’s upbringings in a “lower class family.” One of the most compelling parts of the conversation was when the two discussed the “preposterous concept” of billionaires. As for being a member of th...

Dodge “Pisses Excellence,” Features L’il Ricky Bobby in New Commercial

“Remember my motto?” asks Reese Bobby. “Wake up in the morning and piss excellence!” answers a child Ricky Bobby while driving a Dodge Charger in a new ad campaign that riffs on the 2006 movie Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. The boast isn’t just a casual reference to the movie—it nods to the very reason for the ad: Dodge was surprised to learn it came first in two recent J.D. Power studies on initial quality and driver appeal in the same year, a first for a domestic brand in decades. FCA executives told us they were emailing one another within seconds of the news asking if they should do a commercial to tout the milestone—a decision in the affirmative was made immediately, but it created a dilemma. The J.D. Power honorifics are serious big-boy awa...

Lamborghini’s Upcoming Roofless Track Car Teased by Squadra Corse

Although we know little about this latest Lambo, we expect it to share much of its mechanical bits with the Essenza SCV12. As such, power will come courtesy of a naturally aspirated V-12 engine with north of 830 horses, which are sent to the rear wheels by way of a six-speed gearbox.  Whether buyers of this Squadra Corse-developed model will be able to take the car home with them is something we’ll have to wait to find out about, too. Essenza SCV12 owners leave their vehicles with Lamborghini, as the company stores the cars in a specially built hangar in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, when not in use. You might remember “owners” of the Ferrari FXX track-only car have a similar arrangement with Ferrari. See all 19 photos Regardless, those interested in this upcomi...
