Six Police Officers Under Investigation Over Handling Of Breonna Taylor Case

According to ABC News, the department’s Professional Standards Unit has begun its probe into Det. Myles Cosgrove and Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly, who fired their weapons into Taylor’s apartment on March 13; Det. Joshua Jaynes, who sought the search warrant for her apartment; and Det. Tony James, Det. Michael Campbell and Det. Michael Nobles, according to spokesman Sgt. Lamont Washington. Internal investigators are reportedly verifying that there was no misconduct on behalf of the officers and if the officers violated any police policies during the incident, the spokesman said. One of the most anticipated releases of the second Record Store Day Drop is Brandi Carlile’s collaboration with the surviving members of Soundgarden. She first performed with the group at the Chris Cornell tribute I Am the Highway in January 2019, but this is a far different beast. The newly established PMRC will oversee THR, Variety, Rolling Stone, Billboard and Vibe, while the content partnership will produce TV, film, and other formats with access to IP across the portfolio of brands. Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter parent company MRC and Penske Media Corp. on Wednesday announced a deal to create two joint ventures in publishing and content, with both companies holding significant ownership. The man who killed John Lennon in 1980 says he was seeking glory and deserved the death penalty for a “despicable” act. Mark David Chapman made the comments in response to questions last month from a parole board, which denied him parole for an 11th time.
