Which Song From Taylor Swift’s ‘Folklore’ Should Be Her Next Single? Vote!

Taylor Swift brought “Betty” out to the 2020 ACM Awards last night (Sept. 16), but the Swifties are anxiously waiting for which Folklore track could be her next big single. “The Last Great American Dynasty” certainly captivated listeners with its storytelling about Rebekah Harkness, the wealthiest woman in America. But “the 1” says it all in the title that it could be the one song to cross over to the single life, especially since it made the second-highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100 out of 16 Folklore songs behind her No. 1 hit “Cardigan.” Yet “Invisible String” has tugged on the heartstrings of her fans and maybe sealed its fate, a central lyrical theme of the sweet ballad, as the Swift’s next ...

Kylie Minogue Brings Back ‘Disco’ for ‘Say Something’ Performance on ‘Fallon’

Kylie Minogue looked like she was performing from inside a Disco ball when she sang “Say Something” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night (Sept. 16). The pop star’s single comes ahead of her 15th studio album Disco, which is set to be released on Nov. 6. But her display came straight from the ’80s, from the dance floor aesthetic to the vintage VHS tape filter. And her lyrics couldn’t have brought more light during a time like this while also describing an endless chase for love. “So we’re going with our heart, yeah, it’s all the rage/ Oh, we’re just, just tryin’ to find ourselves in the storms we chase/ Eh, eh, eh/ Baby, in an endless summer, we can find our way,” she sings in the seco...

Kanye West Pisses On His Grammy Award, Dubs Himself ‘Baby Putin’

Source: SAUL LOEB / Getty Kanye West must really be on the same ish as Donald Trump because he’s doing the utter most these days. After waging war on Joe Biden, Drake, J. Cole, and on overall reality, Kanye West, aka Yeezy, has set his sights on the music industry. After posting over a hundred pages of his record contract on his Twitter account and calling the music industry “modern day slavery” (wouldn’t that be a choice, Ye?), Kanye took things up a notch by taking one of his many Grammy awards and filming himself urinating on it to express his current disdain for the industry that made him a household name. Kanye who began referring to himself as the “New Moses” then decided he’d go by a new moniker and from the sounds of it, well, he’s definitely coming off as a Trump comrade. TRUST ME...

AG Bill Barr Compares National Mandate For Coronavirus Lockdowns To Slavery

Source: KAMIL KRZACZYNSKI / Getty Attorney General William Barr, perhaps emboldened by the hackneyed views of President Donald Trump and his followers, made a most egregious comparison recently. During an event to recognize the constitution, Barr compared suggestions of a national lockdown due to the pandemic to slavery. CNN has more: Addressing a Constitution Day celebration hosted by Hillsdale College, the event’s host asked Barr to explain the “constitutional hurdles for forbidding a church from meeting during Covid-19.” The question lead Barr into a four-minute response where he said state governors were using their executive powers to stifle citizens and businesses from going back to work. “You know, putting a national lockdown, stay at home orders, is like house arrest. Other than sl...

Dave Grohl has a confession to make: at the end of Foo Fighters’ lengthy tours, he feels like calling it quits. Worried? Don’t be. Grohl admitted to AC/DC singer Brian Johnson that “it’s kind of a running joke.” In a new Sky Arts documentary, appropriately titled Brian Johnson Meets Dave Grohl that airs tonight (Sept. 17), NME reports that the longtime touring legends shared stories of life on the road, with the former Nirvana drummer saying, “I’ve been on the road for a year and a half, I come home from tour and say, ‘I’m never doing that again. That’s it. That’s the last time. Never ever again. I’m going to take two years off’”, he said. “And all my friends look at me and say, ‘Bullshit. There’s no way.’” According to Sky Media, the rock legends film the seg...
