As we’ve noted in previous reviews, the Flying Spur is the best Bentley sedan of the modern era thanks to its sumptuous interior and effortless acceleration. Now, a carbon fiber package promises to give the sedan even more road presence. The updates are subtle, but likely won’t go unnoticed by discerning Bentley customers. The Styling Specification adds carbon fiber accents to the Flying Spur’s front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler. Bentley has performed a battery of tests to make sure the carbon fiber bits don’t disturb the sedan’s performance. The parts were also tested for durability to withstand curb strikes, wading, and poor roads. Bentley even paid close attention to the badging, giving the side sills a special three-dimensional ele...

Source: Brandon Bell / Getty Looks like NBA players striking in the middle of the NBA Playoffs in the name of social justice might’ve worked a bit. Days after Jacob Blake was shot by an unnamed police officer in Kenosha, Wisconsin, authorities finally released the name of the trigger happy law enforcement officer hours after the Milwaukee Bucks began a day of NBA playoff boycotting. According to The Guardian, Rusten Sheskey was finally named as the police officer who shot an unarmed and unaggressive Jacob Blake in the back in front of his children, in turn sparking days protests in the streets of Kenosha, Wisconsin. The 7-year veteran was recorded on video holding on to Blake’s white shirt as he made his way to his car before Sheskey inexplicably pumped 7 bullets into his back after he ope...
With nightlife across the United Kingdom (and the rest of the world) still at a virtual standstill amid regulations and safety precautions enacted in order to limit the spread of COVID-19, nightclubs and venues are facing a severe fallout with no way to reopen. The Night Time Industries Association is now making a push to get the UK government to allow clubs to operate once again, but if it happens, things certainly won’t go back to the way they were before the pandemic. “Whilst there are some areas of increased risks over other sectors there are many real benefits that such businesses have over other sectors,” said a report from the NTIA. “Particularly, [as] all our venues have security to give 100% cover of matters such as temperature checks, track and t...
Looks like the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV, the SUV version of the bow-tie’s small electric car, is still on track for sale next summer. The EUV is the second vehicle in the Bolt electric car family. It is slightly larger, hardier, and designed to look a little more like an SUV than a car and offer more interior room to play with. Importantly, the Bolt EUV will be the first vehicle outside the Cadillac brand to offer Super Cruise, the driver-assistance technology that allows for hands-free highway driving on mapped roads. Sleeker Profile Sets Bolt EUV Apart As you can see from the teaser released by General Motors, the EUV has a much sleeker silhouette than the frumpy Bolt hatchback, with a roofline that ends in a rear spoiler. The beltline angles up gently as it proceeds from the A-pill...
JoJo‘s sassy, empowering Good to Know album got a new twist. The singer dropped the deluxe edition of her recent project on Friday (Aug. 28), featuring a number of new songs and remixes. The “Too Little Too Late” singer called on some of her fellow female acts to assist on some sultry songs, including Demi Lovato on “Lonely Hearts” and Tinashe on a new track called “Love Reggae.” However, one person who doesn’t appear on the project is Tory Lanez, who was featured on the original album with 30 Roc on “Comeback.” The news came last week, after Megan Thee Stallion confirmed that the rapper is the one who shot her in a recent incident. In a statement to Billboard, the singer said, “It felt like the righ...
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Dua Lipa is bringing the fun of a nightclub to the comfort of our socially distanced homes. The pop star dropped her Club Future Nostalgia remix album on Friday (Aug. 28), featuring fresh new spins on Future Nostalgia favorites. Most notably, the 17-track effort includes the epic “Levitating” remix by The Blessed Madonna, featuring Madonna and Missy Elliott. “I see her and I saw this album as a part of this whole history of subversive women in pop music,” The Blessed Madonna recently told Zane Lowe of Lipa’s music. “And for me, the great dance records are pop records and the great pop records are dance records and those things live together. And then to be able to have all of this content ...
The Internet went on high alert last week when Calvin Harris and The Weeknd both shared cryptic but suggestive Instagram images that pointed to a forthcoming collab. Today (Aug.28) that track, “Over Now” is here. The song is deeply smooth, R&B-leaning breakup jam with flourishes of funk and synth shimmer that serves as base for The Weekend to deliver lyrics in which he implores his ex to stop calling. The video finds a digitally rendered and fairly psychedelic avatar of the singer dancing around a series of Web 1.0 landscapes that altogether have heavy aesthetic influences of Daft Punk, Gesaffelstein and Blade Runner. “Over Now” is the Scottish producer’s first release as Calvin Harris since his 2019 single “Giant” with Rag’n’Bone M...
