John Lewis, the civil-rights leader who passed away last month at the age of 80. Following a video package honoring Lewis’ legacy, Legend and Common were shown sharing a stage and launching into “Glory,” the theme song for the 2014 Civil Rights Movement film Selma. Despite concerted efforts by the Metropolitan Police, London has faced an influx of illicit raves over the past few months as COVID-19 restrictions have continued to shut down the nightlife sector. Deftones shared “Ohms,” the first track from the upcoming 10-song album, which is also called Ohms. The video for the song was directed by Rafatoon. According to NBC News, a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction on Monday (Aug 17) to allow Kaden Bradford to keep his locs without facing suspension. Bradford’s “rights under the Equal Protection Clause and the First Amendment will be violated if his motion for a preliminary injunction is denied, and he has additionally shown that he will receive either inferior instruction or no instruction if his motion is denied,” the court stated.
