The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is already a car worthy of the Shelby name, but for those who want a more conspicuous connection to racing legend and entrepreneur Carroll Shelby, Las Vegas-based Shelby American is offering a Carroll Shelby Signature Edition package that turns your stock Mustang GT500 into a GT500SE with more power and an official Shelby CSM number. Wondering why you’d want Shelby to tune and Shelby-fy a car that’s already a Shelby? The relationship between Ford and Shelby can be a little confusing, so here’s a quick breakdown: Ford licenses the Shelby name for the GT500 and GT350, which were developed 100-percent in-house at Ford. Shelby American is the company that Carroll Shelby founded, and still builds its own cars including continuation-series Cob...

The president made the remark on Air Force One on Friday evening. President Donald Trump said he will take action as soon as Saturday (Aug. 1) to ban TikTok, a popular Chinese-owned video app that has been a source of national security and censorship concerns. Trump’s comments came after published reports that the administration is planning to order China’s ByteDance to sell TikTok. There were also reports Friday that software giant Microsoft is in talks to buy the app. “As far as TikTok is concerned, we’re banning them from the United States,” Trump told reporters Friday on Air Force One as he returned from Florida. Trump said he could use emergency economic powers or an executive order to enforce the action, insisting, “I have that authority.” Reports by Bloomberg News and the Wall...
Kanye West is standing by the anti-abortion comments he made during his first presidential campaign rally in South Carolina. West took to Twitter on Friday (July 31) — about two weeks after breaking down in tears on stage in Charleston while revealing that he and wife Kim Kardashian considered aborting their daughter North — to restate his feelings about the controversial topic. “I cried at the thought of aborting my first born and everyone was so concerned about me,” the 43-year-old rapper and fashion mogul wrote. “I’m concerned for the world that feels you shouldn’t cry about this subject.” He added that more than “22,500,000 black babies have been aborted” during the past 50 years. In another tweet, West wrote, “There is a tactic of ...

When Acura pulled the sheets off the new TLX sedan earlier this year, it revealed key specs for the regular-grade model—but left out a few details about the zestier Type S trim, namely, how much horsepower and torque its turbocharged V-6 kicks out. Well, Acura has finally come out with those numbers, and they’re much more competitive than anything put forth by the old TLX. The 2021 Acura TLX Type S’s 3.0-liter V-6 will make 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. That horsepower figure edges the Audi S4’s 349, but falls shy of the BMW M340i’s 382 horsepower. Other sport-focused six-cylinder stalwarts in the entry-luxury segment are more powerful, too, including Infiniti’s Q50 Red Sport 400 and Mercedes-AMG’s C43. However, the TLX has taken a big step for...
We can finally start speculating about the sort of accessories the 2021 Ford Bronco will have at its disposal as the Blue Oval’s off-road SUV looks to one-up the legendary Jeep Wrangler. Admittedly, Ford hasn’t released much in the way of details regarding the sort of add-ons it plans to offer on the model, but that hasn’t stopped curious fans from digging in and trying to figure it out for themselves. One particularly motivated member of the Bronco6G forum recently dug up an image that shows a Bronco with a set of rad-looking tube doors. We previously published information on the Bronco’s removable doors, including the possibility of tube doors appearing on the model. This is the first time we’ve seen an image of the tube doors outside of a patent drawing, th...

And that’s not all. In the realm of...

Spell My Name, which fans can pre-order here, is her first...
Source: NBC / Getty The film and television industry froze when COVID-19 swept the nation. While the curve is currently trending downward in some states, it still isn’t safe to resume production as they once did before the shutdown. Cue in Tyler Perry’s recent filming experiment at his studio. The mogul took a carefully-planned gamble during a two-week production of his BET show “Sistas,” subsequently wrapping coronavirus-free. The rewarding efforts cost the guy a couple of million, but we all know his money is long. Have you seen Tyler Perry Studios? In an exclusive interview with Variety, Perry goes into detail about his blueprint. Whether on or offset, masks have to be worn at all times. “I made sure that the cast and crew and everybody wore their masks when they weren...
