2021 Toyota Corolla Apex Edition Adds Style but No Extra Horsepower

When we tested the new Toyota Corolla sedan at our 2020 Car of the Year competition, we were surprised by how much fun it was to drive. Now, Toyota is looking to maximize the sporting potential of its (newly minted) smallest four-door with the new Corolla Apex Edition. Not only is it literally the apex predator of the Corolla range, it also aims to quite literally clip apexes both on and off track. Toyota plans to make just 6,000 Apex Editions, each offered in one of three different color options. You have your choice of Cement with a black roof, Super White, also with a black roof, or Black Sand Pearl. Regardless of color, the Apex features a racier aero kit that includes a new front splitter, redesigned fog light covers, sporty body side moldings, a reworked rear bumper, and a trunk-lid ...

Ford Won’t Sell a 2021 Bronco With a Stick Shift AND the Best Off-Road Pack

The 2021 Ford Bronco’s cool and unusual seven-speed manual transmission (with a “dogleg” shift pattern that includes a crawler gear at the bottom left position and six, typically placed, forward gears for day-to-day driving), is the sort of thing that gets our attention. For one, there’s no denying the extra level of connection you get from driving a manual transmission vehicle—if you get it, you get it. And that crawler gear, combined with the Bronco’s robust four-wheel-drive system’s two-speed transfer case and various off-road driving modes, should provide some incredible low-speed control over any really technical stuff. But if you want it with the Sasquatch package, then, for now, you’re out of luck. Ford states the Sasquatch package will...

The Prince Estate Drops Unreleased Track ‘I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man (1979 Version)’

The Prince Estate partnered with Warner Records to drop the previously unreleased song “I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man (1979 Version)” today (July 16). The track will be featured on the upcoming expanded reissue of the late pop star’s iconic ninth album Sign o’ the Times this fall. Prince originally recorded the song, which layers his voice nine times, in Studio A at Hollywood Sound Recorders on May 23, 1979 during sessions for his 1979 self-titled sophomore album. He retrieved it from the vault and re-recorded it in 1986 with a guitar solo and updated sound that made its way onto the 1987 album, which peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. Fans can head to Prince’s Instagram and Twitter to read the full handwritten lyrics sheet. &...

Watch Kygo Discuss His Favorite Summer Activities & Preview His Upcoming Performance With Ryan Tedder

Tedder and the producer will perform tomorrow (July 17) as part of iHeartRadio’s ongoing ‘Summer Camp With the Stars’ series If you went to summer camp as a kid, you know how meaningful it was to spend those glorious golden days running around the woods and making new friends around the campfire. But with COVID-19 closing and dramatically reducing the capacity of summer camps around the world, iHeartRadio is offering an alternative with their Summer Camp with the Stars series. This week’s installation will feature a performance from Kygo and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, who teamed up like camp buddies in a three-legged race for “Lose Somebody,” from Kygo’s latest LP Golden Hour. The album is currently in the No. 2 position on Billboa...

Source: Sheri Determan/WENN.com / WENN Kareem Abdul-Jabbar spent much of his NBA career as a standout big man and has eased into his retirement as a writer and author covering a bevy of topics. In his latest column, the Los Angeles Lakers legend examines the recent string of perceived anti-semitism from entertainers and athletes while offering a stern warning. Writing for The Hollywood Reporter, Abdul-Jabbar, 73, took issue with the recent comments made by the likes of Ice Cube, DeSean Jackson, and the latest to express alleged anti-semitic thoughts, Nick Cannon. CNN’s Chris Cuomo Calls Donald Trump’s Goya Promo “Bullsh*t” On The Air

Source: AGUSTIN PAULLIER / Getty Looks like CNN’s Chris Cuomo has had enough of Donald Trump’s “bullsh*t!” thanks to his endorsement of Goya products from the Oval Office. Things began last week when a boycott of Goya products began after it’s CEO, Robert Unanue, went to the White House and praised the Racist-In-Chief and called Americans “blessed” for having a “leader like Donald Trump” leading the country straight into a divider. In an effort to further troll his left-wing haters and “own the libs,” Donald Trump took a picture of himself in the Oval office with some Goya products sitting on the Resolute Desk that he probably sent one of the White House gardeners to go fetch. That seemed to be the breaking point for Chris Cuomo as the Coronavirus pandemic continues to rage out of control ...

In that same breath, he also called for ViacomCBS to give him full ownership of his billion-dollar Wild ‘N Out brand he claims he was finessed out of. In his newest apology, Cannon takes full responsibility for the anti-Semitic comments that were dropped on his Cannon Class series. “First and foremost, I extend my deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth during ...
