Source: David Crotty / Getty Ray J and Princess Love‘s four-year marriage hit the rocks earlier this year after Love filed for the divorce back in May amid some troubles on the homefront. Last week, Love filed to dismiss the filing and it also appears that the couple is reconciling if chatter around a recent photo is true. The Blast exclusively reports that Love filed to dismiss the divorce on July 8 with the judge signing off on the order days later.  The couple had been living apart for some time, this after Love accused her husband of leaving her high and dry in Las Vegas after an argument. More from The Blast: But, after filing for divorce, Ray J posted a video of him and their son inside of the singer’s Los Angeles home — where it appears a woman is walking behind the camera as h...

Yo La Tengo Share Another New Song on Bandcamp

A day after not only unveiling a Bandcamp page but sharing new material recorded while in quarantine, Yo La Tengo has released another new song. Just like “James and Ira demonstrate mysticism and some confusion holds (Monday),” “Georgia thinks it’s probably okay (Tuesday)” was recorded in at the band’s rehearsal space in Hoboken, New Jersey. Judging by the song titles, it seems likely that the band has a few more tunes on tap in the coming days. Earlier this year, it was announced that the group’s Electr-o-Pura would be reissued this year in honor of its 25th anniversary, and Lacey Dacus shared a cover of “Tom Courtenay” from it. The band’s previous album, There’s A Riot Going On, was released in 2018. Listen to “Georgia thinks it’s probably okay (Tuesday)” be...

The single reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Halsey’s first No. 1 as a lead artist. It’s also the first song that Halsey wrote under her given name, Ashley Frangipane. Khalid and Post Malone shared the award for songwriter of the year at the event, which, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was held virtually. Both singer/songwriters co-wrote four of BMI’s top-performed songs of 2019 — in each case, three songs on which they were the lead (or co-lead) artist and one on which they were the featured artist. Grabbitz Signs With Managers Adam LaRue and Shawn Dailey

Veteran music managers Shawn Dailey and Adam LaRue have signed shape-shifting alt-rock and indie dance producer, singer and songwriter Grabbitz, born of this earth as American artist Nick Chiari and the vocalist behind the refreshingly dangerous Rezz collaboration “Someone Else.” With cutting lyrics soaked in double entendre, the 2020 single has an insanely infectious sound signature that weaves in and out of its verse, chorus, bridge structure with no-frills guitar chords and grinding industrial electronica. The crank-the-volume nod to Nine Inch Nails peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Alternative songs chart on July 4 and hit No. 23 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart in May. Grabbitz has collaborated with One Republic, deadmau5, Pend...

Playing The Victim Card: “Chipotle Karen” Says “Ethnic Intimidation” Caused Her To Pull Gun On Black Family

Source: Twitter / Twitter If racists are learning anything from the Divider-In-Chief enabling their prejudice and bigoted ways, it’s that playing the victim card is much better than owning up to your ish. Last week, “Chipotle Karen” became a viral villain after she was caught on video pulling a gun on Takelia Hill and her daughter after a heated exchange at a Chipotle restaurant in Michigan. After the video of the encounter made the social media rounds, Jillian Wuestenberg and her hubby were arrested and charged with felonious assault and are facing up to four years behind bars. Looking to clear her “good” name, Wuestenberg gave a tearful interview where she defended her actions and said she “feared for her life” even though she was the only person with a weapon. CTE Check: Kyle Queiro’s Goofy Jill Scott Sex Appeal Tweets Gets A Response

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Kyle Queiro, a professional football player who once played for the Dallas Cowboys, stepped in it last week after loudly and incorrectly questioning the sex appeal of Jill Scott. Queiro has since deleted his tweets and issued an apology but the Philadelphia songstress did have a slight response. Queiro, 25 and a native of New Jersey, put together a goofy-ass set of tweets questioning Scott, who has been regarded as one of the most beautiful women in R&B since breaking out in the 1990s. Kyle Queiro got on Beyoncé’s internet & questioned how anyone could be attracted to Jill Scott. Like he can’t fathom that a plus size woman can be physically attractive and sexy. Fatphobia is real. pic.twitter.com/X8heW8sZz4 — YungBBQ Knees on my wishlist (@Anamenobodygo...

Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty Well, looks like Kanye West might be in danger of losing a possible major donor for his 2020 Presidential campaign before it even got underway. According to Page Six, billionaire Elon Musk has decided to backtrack on his “full support” of Yeezy’s presidential aspirations after he was called out on Twitter by John Crowley who wrote “Cmon Elon – you’re way too intelligent for this BS.” In a now-deleted tweet, Musk responded, “We may have more differences of opinion than I anticipated.” Though he didn’t get into specifics on what he and Yeezus disagreed on, we can only imagine what those issues could be as Musk has pledged his support to the Trump presidency and that ish is all sorts of asinine. Could Kanye’s recent “rejection” of Donald Trump and his administ...
