Believe it or not, there was a time before Rage Against the Machine. Zack de la Rocha just has some extra video proof now. In a newly resurfaced throwback video, the RATM singer can be seen with his pre-Rage hardcore band Hard Stance. It’s been 30 years since the March 1990 clip was taken at Hollywood Live in Hollywood, California, and de la Rocha seems just as energetic as he’d be known for years later. The group formed in 1987, but the Rage Against the Machine singer only became their lead vocalist to fill another’s shoes later on. De la Rocha lets vocalist Eric Ernst take the mic for most of the show, but little did he know, he’d form RATM just a year later and own the mic for years to come. Still, the clip shows a lot of stage diving, running around and well, whatever else you’d expect...
After his 8:46 stand-up special showed that live events can work safely during the pandemic, Dave Chappelle gave his fans another night to remember over the holiday weekend. The comedy icon hosted a July 4th music festival in Yellow Springs, Ohio, featuring some of the biggest names in both hip-hop and comedy. This isn’t Chappelle’s first music fest — as his famous “Block Party” featuring Kanye West and Mos Def took place 16 years ago and he’s hosted other events in Yellow Springs — but its certainly his first music event featuring a socially distant crowd. Saturday’s six-hour event was presented to a 400-person audience, with every attendee tested for COVID prior to the show. The show featured performances from Erykah Badu, Common, and Talib Kweli, with stand-up from M...

Source: Twitter / Twitter Well one thing is for certain, MAGA cult members sure don’t like wearing masks. White pointed hoods that promote white supremacy maybe, but face guards that help prevent the spread of COVID-19, not so much. According to News One the latest incident involving and anti-mask “Karen” came over the weekend when an unidentified woman in Scottsdale, Arizona decided to thrash a Target mask display because it’s her “Amerikan” right to live and die as she chooses regardless of how it may effect others around her. Documenting her actions for social media purposes, the “blonde white woman” menacingly approached the harmless display stand before proudly stating “I’ve been looking forward to this sh*t all my f*cking life.” The mask requirements have only been going for a few mo...

Following Ryan Adams’ public apology over the weekend, both Mandy Moore and Karen Elson have shared their reactions to his attempt at making public amends. “It’s challenging because I feel like in many ways I’ve said all I want to say about him and that situation, but I find it curious that someone would make a public apology but not do it privately,” Moore told NBC’s Hoda Kotb on The Today Show on Monday morning (July 6). “I am speaking for myself, but I have not heard from him, and I’m not looking for an apology necessarily, but I do find it curious that someone would do an interview about it without actually making amends privately.” Following her comments on The Today Show, Moore urged her fans to move on from the past and “focus on real news,” redirecting the focus to finding justice ...
Sure, there are plenty of relatively affordable camper vans out there. But if you’re looking to take your midsize pickup truck on an extended adventure, Scout is offering a cool solution that sleeps up to four people. Not bad for something that weighs under 1,000 pounds. The new Scout Yoho is a lightweight camper with a reconfigurable interior. The floor is just under 70 inches long, providing just enough room for the essentials. In the day, it’s a seating and dining area, and at night, you can convert the space into two separate beds. Since midsize trucks don’t always have the best payload capacities, it’s important that the camper is light. The Yoho comes in with a dry weight of 913 pounds, making it considerably lighter than the company’s bigger Olympic cam...
The 8,000-hour process to build an Eagle Lightweight GT starts with stripping down an original Series 1 Jaguar E-type and replacing its original steel bodywork with aluminum in a more durable grade than the original Lightweight E-types. This alone takes nearly 2,500 hours, Eagle says. Other changes are made for improved drivability, including deeper side sills which increase torsional rigidity, larger wheel wells to house wider 16-inch wheels, and a 4.7-liter straight-six engine that Eagle touts is an “evolution” of the original “XK” mill and produces 380 horsepower and 375 lb-ft of torque. A new alloy block, big valves, and special crankshaft, pistons, and connecting rods make the power gain possible. See all 11 photos Other details include making various castings ...
Charlie Puth took to social media on Sunday (July 5) to share his unfiltered thoughts on the toxicity of stan culture between pop stars’ fan bases. “I don’t usually pay any mind to things like this, but something has to be said. This dangerous, toxic, internet screaming match between ‘fandoms’ has to stop,” he began in a series of thoughtful tweets. “I’m 28 years old, so it doesn’t really mean anything to me when some person I don’t know writes a nasty message to me saying things like ‘I used BTS for clout.’ I don’t know what that means- I love those guys and they are super talented.” The singer’s reference to BTS comes after fans of the K-pop boy band accused him of trying to piggyback off the group’s popularity for his own gain o...
