Kanye West And His Legal Team Object To Kim Kardashians Divorce, Here’s Why

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Ricky Vigil M / Getty With all the (very public) drama surrounding Kanye West and his apparent inability to let his estranged wife Kim Kardashian move on, it’s not terribly surprising that Ye’s legal team is fighting Kardashian’s bid to divorce her husband and reinstate her legal status. But, in this case, his objections appear to be less stalkerish and more in line with what can typically become a battle between spouses going through a contentious divorce. According to TMZ, Ye’s lawyers appear to be concerned about the possibility of Kardashian remarrying and what it might mean for the ex-couple’s joint assets and custody of their children. (Meanwhile, Kim’s new boo Pete Davidson is probably somewhere reading the story and thinking, “Woah, woah, woah—rem...

Fivio Foreign, Kanye West & Alicia Keys “City of Gods,” Kid Cudi & Nigo “Want It Bad” & More | Daily Visuals 2.22.22

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty As Kanye West fans await the release of Donda 2 on their $200 Stem Play device (good luck with that), they can at least enjoy a little bit of Yeezy as he joins Fivio Foreign and Alicia Keys in a brand new video. Coming through with visuals to “City of Gods,” Fivio, Kanye and Alicia Keys use some black-and-white cinematography to give the video a gritty feel as the three artists do their thing and Kanye rocks a full mask because, well, we have no idea. Might be to creep on Pete Davidson at this point. Speaking of Kanye, while he no longer wants to be friends with Kid Cudi due to his friendship with Pete Davidson, Cudi seems to be doing just fine without Ye by his side as he links up with Bape founder, Nigo in the clip to “Want It Bad.”...

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: SOPA Images / Getty When online betting became legal in New York City this past January you just knew it was going to take the city by storm and according to The New York Times, bets poured in like El Niño as New Yorkers got their gambling on as soon as they got the chance. That led to the state compiling $80 million in tax revenue and making New York the “biggest bookmaking market in the nation.” That being said, addiction specialists fear that this is a sign that people may become gambling addicts and even tempt recovering addicts to get back in the game as they can place bets by simply reaching for ...

HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: YouTube / Youtube Omerettà The Great is an up and coming Atlanta rapper who has some of the hometown natives big mad. Her song and video for “Sorry Not Sorry” draws clear geographical distinctions as far as what really counts as “Atlanta,” and it has ruffled plenty of feathers. Shot in the Truist Stadium parking lot, home of the Atlanta Braves (in Cobb County), Omeretta spits bars outlining what does and doesn’t county as Atlanta. Apparently, spots like Bankhead and Adamsville count, but places like Decatur, College Park (where this guy named 2 Chainz hails from) and Gwinnett do not. Who knew? Well actually, the song has caused fierce debate with some folk co-signing and plenty of others crying foul. Expect the Clayyton County, Callege Park and East...
