Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Symone Sanders may be making history. According to published reports, President-elect Joe Biden is considering the former senior adviser for the Biden-Harris campaign for the position of White House Press Secretary. “She’s lightning-fast smart, one of those people who, whether you’re in just conversation or sparring, you really gotta keep up,” Ed Gillespie, a former White House aide to President George W. Bush, told Politico. “She is always a half-step ahead, if not a full step ahead.” On November 14, John Lockhart, the former press secretary under Bill Clinton, wrote for CNN that whoever serves at the podium next will be tasked with restoring trust for the American people because the Trump administration “promised the truth and delivered everything but.” Pres...

The surprising announcement was revealed when E.W. Jackson updated his congregation about his noticeable absence over the past couple of weeks during a live sermon streamed on Facebook. As it turns out, he caught the ‘rona and gave it to his wife. “I want to say that I’ve been out for the last several weeks, probably … because I was speaking somewhere else, and last week, I was out because I was tested positive for COVID-19,” Jackson said to his followers at Exodus Faith Ministries. “I’m back, I’m healthy, I’m sound, I’m whole, praise God. I’m feeling good.” “My wife, of course, she got it ...
Source: Roy Rochlin / Getty When it comes to Hip-Hop music videos we truly feel like we’ve seen it all and though some rappers tend to OD with the theatrics just to get attention, rapper Dupree G.O.D. might’ve went to far as hes’ had to turn himself into police for his death defying stunt. According to the New York Daily News the Brooklyn rapper turned himself into police yesterday (Nov. 18) after a video of him shooting a flamethrower while on top of a city bus went viral and police began searching for him. Though authorities felt he was basically a danger to society for his stunt, Dupree maintains that his performance was “committed in the name of art.” Dupree G.O.D jumped shirtless from the top of an ice cream truck onto a packed B26 bus at Franklin and Put...

Source: Derrick Salters/WENN.com / WENN Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and Donald Trump still hasn’t officially conceded to President-elect Joe Biden. The Delaware native secured the 2020 election by a landslide in both the popular and electoral votes, and instead of preparing for a smooth transition of power in the White House come January 2021, Americans are instead bracing for a clash reminiscent of a civil war. To quote Michelle Obama from her lengthy Instagram post about the debauchery: “This isn’t a game.” The former First Lady used her social media platform to remind Trump and his administration that decency and respect were shown to his family when she and President Barack Obama prepared for his transition into power in 2016. “I have to be honest and say that none of t...

Source: PYMCA / Getty To many a Hip-Hop head, Tekashi 6ix9ine has always been considered a “struggle rapper” regardless of how many times he topped the Billboard charts or how much money he earned with his mediocre records. His lyrical content has always been linked to the struggle and now he has a documentary to match. According to Yahoo, Hulu quietly released their Tekashi 6ix9ine documentary, ’69: The Saga of Danny Hernandez is the kind of mess you’d expect from a rapper who’s seemingly been all over the place in his young and short career. Directed by Vikram Gandhi, the documentary delves deep into the somewhat public life of the 24-year-old Brooklyn rapper and though it seems to be informative, it also lacks the kind of inside information that would make ...
Source: Alberto E. Rodriguez / Getty For whatever reason, it seems like rappers have become easy targets in the state of Texas. This comes as Mo3, Boosie Badazz, and Benny The Butcher have all been shot in the past week with Mo3 having lost his life in what some assumed was a set-up in the Lone Star State. Now after being the subject of rumors that she had something to do with the death of Mo3, the woman who was with Mo before he was killed has spoken out on her Facebook page after being radio silent since his shocking murder. Speaking like someone who’d known Mo3 for a minute and the work he put in to get into the music game, the young woman in question wrote, “Damn MoMo Ion think I ever cried like this before. I was rooting for you & you had so much more to show the world...
