HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Raymond Boyd / Getty For years now Brooklyn went from the most thorough of borough’s to home of the hipsters. But over the weekend nothing has demonstrated just how much Kings County has changed than the defacement of a mural of The Notorious B.I.G. (for shame!). CBS News reported that over the weekend a beautifully made mural of the OG King of New York on the corner of St. James Place and Fulton Street in Clinton Hill (not the one pictured) was vandalized. It’s so disrespectful to the culture that even the NYPD are on the case and are trying to track down the perps who played themselves bigly. The mural was done by artist Vincent Ballentine and unveiled back in March to mark the 25th anniversary of Biggie’s passing. Speaking to CBS, Ballentine says he pl...
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Westend61 / Getty What up, Hip-Hop Wired Nation? We’re a little late updating our last edition of CRT FRSH AKA Certified Fresh by a couple of days. Part of our duty as a publication and crew is to school the masses on who is doing what musically and there’s no better way to do that beyond our CRT FRSH (Certified Fresh) bi-weekly playlist. The CRT FRSH playlist is a labor of love. We don’t take payments nor do we do favors. We only add joints to our playlist that fit the theme and vision we’re going for and don’t seek to waste the time of the listener. Further, we don’t stick to one lane of Hip-Hop. We believe that all aspects of the music should get some light, whether it’s young lions in the trenches or those hoping for that one shot to blow up to grizzl...

As a result, fans of the popular singer is reminding Spears that he’s definitely seen slimmer days himself. The clip of Aries Spears taking a shot at Lizzo was captured by the YouTube program, The Art Of Dialogue, which shared a now-viral clip of Spears looking far more washed that the 47 years of age he reportedly is. We would love to avoid giving a breakdown of what Spears said but for the sake of context, the comedian compared Lizzo’s shape to the poop emoji and complained about her choice to show off her body in an array of outfits. To be fair to Spears, he did realize that this was the ...
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Mat Hayward / Getty Needless to say millions of people across the world had nothing to do but self-reflect during the pandemic lockdowns of 2020, but NAV took it a step further and turned his inner-findings during that time into a song that his fans could appreciate in “Wrong Decisions.” Coming through with some visuals for the aforementioned cut, NAV breaks down a confessional of sorts as he throws on some shades while blowing on some smoke and rolling some dice in a spiffy pair of Travis Scott Air Jordan 6’s. Us sneakerheads quickly notice which kicks these artists be rocking in their videos. Elsewhere Flo Milli got some heat for her fans and in her clip to “Big Steppa” sets her city on fire while towering over some model buildings like a Goddesszilla. ...
