Nichelle Nichols, Groundbreaking “Star Trek” Actor, Dies At 89

According to an Instagram post on Sunday (Jul. 31) made by her son, Kyle Johnson, Nichols passed away the night before at her home in Silver City, New Mexico. “Her light, however, like the ancient galaxies now being seen for the first time, will remain for us and future generations to enjoy, learn from, and draw inspiration,” he wrote in the post’s caption, which displayed her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Mystikal Arrested On Charges of Sexual Assault & Robbery, Allegedly

Cohen / Getty The Grammy Award-nominated rapper Mystikal has run afoul of the law again and is now in police custody after being arrested on charges of alleged sexual assault over the weekend. According to reports, the New Orleans native was arrested on Sunday (July 31st) and booked into the Ascension Parish jail. The warrant detailed the charges, which include first-degree rape, simple robbery, domestic abuse battery, and false imprisonment, in addition to simple criminal damage to property.
