Travis Scott To Donate Proceeds From Latest Nike Collaboration To Project HEAL

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Jordan Brand / Jordan Brand Given the way that sneakerheads flooded Travis Scott’s website with bots upon the release of his latest Nike collaboration, we feel it’s pretty safe to say he’s un-canceled. Now the “Highest In The Room” rapper is taking another step in his road to redemption and has announced that he’s going to be donating the proceeds from his latest Nike collaboration to Project HEAL. TMZ is reporting that the money made from the merchandise moved by his Nike collaboration will ultimately make it’s way to the nonprofit organization that is focused on equitable treatment access for eating disorders. HipHopWired Featured Video Source: @MATHHOFFA / Youtube It’s no secret that Tekashi 6ix9ine remains one of the most hated men in Hip-Hop today and now Fat Joe has become the latest high profile rapper to air out the most famous snitch in Hip-Hop history. Joey Crack had some pretty strong opinions on Tekashi that he aired out while he was sitting down with Math Hoffa for Math’s Expert Opinion podcast and labeled the “Gummo” rapper a “a p*ssy, a sucka, a B*tch!” No lies detected.  That being said, Fat Joe did say he doesn’t wish any harm on Tekashi but feels like he might have a death wish given how Tekashi carries himself out in these internet streets. Related Stories Naturally, Tekashi caught wind of Fat Joe’s popular opinion and hit up TMZ to clap back at the New York Triple OG and b...

NBA Twitter Declares The Ben Simmons & James Harden Trade An Absolute Bust

HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: Tim Nwachukwu / Getty The Ben Simmons and James Harden trade is looking like it didn’t benefit either the Brooklyn Nets or Philadelphia 76ers. After the Philadelphia 76ers got bounced out of the playoffs by Jimmy Butler, and the Miami Heat Thursday night (May.12), NBA Twitter ultimately decided that the trade between the Nets and Sixers didn’t benefit either franchise. Harden, who has been a shell of his former self since he was dealt from the Houston Rockets to the Nets, kept his playoff legacy of disappearing during the postseason going. With a hobbled Joel Embiid trying his best to help Philly force a Game 7, Harden decided to check out in the second half of the game, only taking TWO shots. Yes, you read that correctly, just TWO shots. Stephen A....

HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: Guy D’Alema / Atlanta FX Atlanta sticks with its theme of airing episodes that don’t feature the show’s four main characters. Season three’s ninth episode, “Rich Wigga, Poor Wigga,”  brilliantly tackles what it means to be Black and how Blackness is judged. SPOILERS AHEAD The episode, which immediately gives off Twilight Zone due to its black and white vibes, follows Aaron (Tyriq Wethers), a biracial teenager who, at first, you wouldn’t think it has an ounce of melanin in him based on his reaction to Black kids he is playing video games with online. Aaron’s struggle ...
