In a world where it often feels like too much all the time, Coldplay know they can’t fix you. But on a night when 50,0000+ fans packed into Soldier Field to see the group land their interplanetary pop spaceship during the first of back-to-back stadium shows in Chicago, they did everything they could to crank the joy meter past 11, if only for 2 hours. Explore See latest videos, charts and news See latest videos, charts and news The band reached that level on Saturday night (May 28) with the help of trippy puppet duets, silly dances in custom space helmets, brightly blinking bracelets that lit up the cavernous home of the Bears and a surprise cameo from hometown hip-hop hero Lupe Fiasco, who was so taken in the moment that, like the audience, he just didn’t want it to end. Harry Styles stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden recently for the ultimate artistic challenge: to make a music video for his new song “Daylight” directed by James Corden in just three hours. And it wasn’t a music video filmed on a fancy set in Hollywood. No, the former boy bander had to find a real-life apartment in New York City to shoot on location with a budget of just $300. After getting turned down by a couple of Brooklyn baby boomers, Corden and Styles lucked into an apartment of four millennial girls more than happy to welcome them in. Hilariously, a tour of the apartment proved that one of the girls happened to be a Styles superfan, with Corden hurriedly hiding the Harry Styles-as-Harry Potter artwork and other assorted One Direction paraphernalia before the pop star co...

After signing to Neon Gold/Atlantic Records, Israeli pop singer Noga Erez is back with a disorienting new song called “Nails.” Listen to the single below. Heavy with boosted bass and clipped, disjointed vocals, “Nails” tackles the complicated consequences of jealousy with an appropriately complex soundtrack. Even more accurately, ASMR heads can look forward to the sound of Erez tapping her own nails on different surfaces, lending the track some extra percussion. “‘Nails’ is a song about jealousy, and how being jealous of people, in this particular case another woman, makes you idealize that person in a very weird and dark way,” Erez said in a statement. In the accompanying music video, the Israeli pop star sits on a bus before captivating her fellow passengers with a performance of the ele...

Is this the year Sky Ferreira finally releases her long-awaited sophomore album, Masochism? Only time will tell, but today fans can listen to “Don’t Forget,” her first new single in three years. Co-produced with Jorge Elbrecht, “Don’t Forget” is powered by a bombastic electropop beat filled with ’80s synths and booming percussion. Lyrically, Ferreira insists she isn’t a damsel in distress. “Honey, you can see that it’s a rotten world/ I don’t need you to save me,” she sings. “I don’t need to deceive you/ I am the real bad girl.” Ferreira first hinted at “Don’t Forget” two months ago, when the artist also seemed to reveal in her Instagram Story that the LP would be coming in April. Of course, that timeframe has since come and gone — just like the March release teased by Ferreira’s mother To...
