Welcome to Harry’s House: The third studio album from Harry Styles is here. Styles announced Harry’s House, his follow-up to 2019’s Fine Line, back in March with a brief teaser trailer. Lead single “As It Was” — which we crowned Song of the Week — followed shortly thereafter. Styles then premiered the cuts “Boyfriends” and “Late Night Talking” during his weekend one set at Coachella last month. Although the 13-track LP conveniently shares its name with a 1975 Joni Mitchell tune, the title Harry’s House is actually a nod to Japanese pop legend Haruomi “Harry” Hosono. As Styles explained during an interview with Apple MusicL “[Hosono] had an album in the ’70s called Hosono’s House, and I spent that chunk in Japan; I heard that record and I was like, ‘I love that. It’...

Accompanying them in the background was a live band, haystacks, and a large video board displaying ominous clouds and flames. Watch it all via the replay below. Harry Styles has joined a chorus of voices speaking out in defense of abortion rights. After Politico leaked a Supreme Court draft opinion revealing a plan to overturn Roe v. Wade, the singer called for “backlash and uproar” in order to protect the landmark decision. “I think it’s quite scary to see how far backwards we’re going in a lot of ways,” Styles told Howard Stern (per Bustle). “There should be backlash and uproar for these things. There’s a lot of people who are taking…the right steps to try to make positive things [happen].” Styles added, “I think people who don’t like that are kind of clawing to grapple back any ground that they feel like they’ve lost, which never belonged to them in the first place. I just don’t think that anyone should be able to make decisions ...
B.I (Kim Hanbin) has spent a lot of time recently thinking about love and being young. He’s also been hitting the gym and studying for the Korean History Proficiency Exam, a test that’s notoriously difficult and usually taken by history buffs or those wanting to impress future employers. He’s not too keen on working out, an admission he makes sheepishly, but he holds the exam prep in a more favorable light: “I’m not getting smarter from it, but it’s fun and I’m doing it with my friends. When I was younger I didn’t study too much!” Explore Explore See latest videos, charts and news See latest videos, charts and news He persists in his gym routine for one reason: It’s important that he presents “the best version of myself” and, in turn, his fans’ appreciation creates in him a sense of conten...

TWICE are more than ready for their close-up. The South Korean pop group made their first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last October when “The Feels” bowed at No. 83. That single would catch fire and scorch its way into the Top 10, peaking at No. 9. On Wednesday night (May 18), the singers stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform their hit for what was their in-person U.S. TV debut. The group, which formed in 2015, comprises members Chaeyoung, Dahyun, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Mina, Momo, Nayeon, Sana and Tzuyu, all of whom dazzled with a colorful and choreographed routine. Harry Styles visited Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show on Wednesday morning (May 18) to perform a pair of tracks from his upcoming Harry’s House album, talk about getting naked on screen and reveal his reaction to Will Smith’s Oscar’s attack on Chris Rock. Megan Fox is Machine Gun Kelly’s biggest fan. The Transformers actress proved it once again with a post-Billboard Music Awards PDA for her fiancé, in the form of a social post. “Baby – so proud of you for giving such a vulnerable and emotional performance. You are magic,” she wrote, adding a pair of heart emojis. MGK was one of the stars of 2022 BBMAs, when he took the stage for a performance of “Twin Flame,” which appears on his latest album Mainstream Sellout, a No. 1 hit on the Billboard 200 albums chart last month. But it was his reference to Fox as his “wife” ahead of the performance, and his mid-song dedication to his “unborn child” that had fans chattering online for hours after the show wrapped. Nick Jonas has taken to parenthood like a pop star takes to a mic. It comes naturally. The Jonas Brother and Priyanka Chopra became parents when they welcomed Malti Marie Chopra Jonas via surrogate in January. Complications followed, however, and their bub spent more than 100 days in the newborn intensive care unit. Thankfully “our little girl’s home and she’s doing amazing,” Jonas told Jimmy Fallon when he stopped by The Tonight Show on Tuesday (May 17). “It’s just, what a gift a baby is. Artist of the Month is an accolade given to an up-and-coming artist or group who is poised for the big time. For May 2022, we’re celebrating Jordana and her irresistible new album Face The Wall. There was a moment of Tumblr fandom around 2013 where indie was more than just a record label status or music style. It was a cherished aesthetic, a place for young people to collect images and stories of untouchable cool, and, most of all, a place to bask in the stylish iconography of bands like The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, The Neighbourhood, and The 1975. Now that we’re in 2022 and in the midst of a supposed “comeback” of the indie sleaze aesthetics, those fans have grown up and begun music careers of their own; Jordana, Consequence‘s May Artist of the Month, is one of them. Her ...
