Considering Florence + The Machine’s upcoming album is called Dance Fever, it’s bound to make you want to bust a move. Today, the band has shared a dance floor-ready remix of their single “My Love,” courtesy of Glass Animals frontman Dave Bayley. Bayley co-produced the original release of “My Love” alongside Jack Antonoff and the band’s Florence Welch, the latter of whom described it as “Nick Cave at the club.” Bayley’s new remix of the track leans more heavily into the club side, adding a disco-like piano riff and a very groovy bass drop. Welch’s vocals remain mostly undoctored, however, keeping the track true to the band’s ethos. “[Welch] had such a strong and brilliant vision for the album lyrically, sonically, and visually, so while working on the tracks we were careful to st...

For our favorite new songs from emerging artists, check out our Spotify New Sounds playlist. This week, Harry Styles gives us the first look inside the walls of Harry’s House. “Harry, you’re no good alone.” Artistically, that’s something we know isn’t true. It’s been years now since Harry Styles struck out on his own, re-inventing his public persona through vintage aesthetics and the devil-may-care creativity of a present-day rockstar. His art, both in his self-titled solo debut and the Grammy-winning Fine Line, has always pivoted between the achingly personal and intentionally coy. It might be easy to speculate ...

A new Harry Styles era is officially upon us. The pop singer has shared “As It Was,” the first single from his forthcoming album, Harry’s House. Styles goes new wave for “As It Was,” where he grieves a broken relationship over a gentle, reverberating synth line. “Nothing to say/ And everything gets in the way/ Seems you cannot be replaced,” he sings in an understated croon, before repeating, “You know it’s not the same as it was.” In keeping with the song’s shimmering aesthetic, in the song’s accompanying music video, Styles does a moody interpretative dance in a red sequin jumpsuit, while his heartsick love interest dances in a blue costume of her own.
