Billie Eilish Named PETA’s 2021 Person of the Year
Two years after naming Billie Eilish as the Best Voice for Animals for her online activism, PETA has awarded her with the honor of 2021 Person of the Year. At the age of 19 years old, the pop superstar is the youngest-ever winner of the award. Vegan since the age of 12, Eilish made her voice heard at the Met Gala, only agreeing to wear a custom vegan silk-free gown from Oscar de la Renta if the brand agreed to ban fur going forward. In addition, she served as the co-chair of the event, which exclusively served vegan meals for the first time. Elish also stayed true to her cause when designing an Air Jordan collection for Nike, creating the sneakers with 100% vegan leather. UPSAHL Announces First Headlining Tour
Singer-songwriter UPSAHL is continuing her ascent to pop stardom with her first run of headlining US tour dates, plus some sweet spots opening up for K. Flay, Yungblud, and Fletcher. A writer whose credits include Dua Lipa’s “Good in Bed” and Madison Beer’s “BOYSHIT,” UPSAHL released her debut solo album Lady Jesus back in October. Now, she kicks off a tour that extends into May. A stop tonight (November 30th) at The Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco kicks off the US leg, which wraps up in March in Los Angeles. Adele has announced “Weekends with Adele,” a 12-week residency taking place in the Colosseum of Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace Hotel beginning Friday, January 21st, 2022. The powerhouse singer will perform two shows each weekend through Saturday, April 16th, 2022. You can find the full list of dates below.
