SNL host Kim Kardashian West sang again for this weekend’s show, in a sketch that was cut for time on Oct. 9. Her “Costco Meeting” sketch, which had her co-starring with Aidy Bryant and Bowen Yang, was uploaded to YouTube on Sunday. The scenario has Kim, Aidy and Bowen in a pop trio that’s introduced to a Costco exec by an intern who has a big idea for the big-box retail store. The trio is introduced as Glitter Revolution, “a three-person bop factory” in coordinating bubble gum pink outfits, and they try to win over the VP of marketing at Costco with three original tunes aimed at bringing teens into the store: one about “bulk b—-es,” plus a slow jam about the chain’s hot dogs and “Flop Shop,” a takedown of their compet...

Fans Choose Jesy Nelson’s ‘Boyz’ Featuring Nicki Minaj as This Week’s Favorite New Music

“Boyz” marks Nelson’s first release since she announced her departure from Little Mix last year. “I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard,” she wrote in a statement at the time, adding that the experience took a “toll on my mental health.” Since leaving, Nelson feels “in control of my life,” she told Glamour U.K. for the October edition’s cover story. In addition to an assist from Minaj, “Boyz” features a heavy interpolation of Diddy’s undying 2001 anthem “Bad Boy For Life.” He even makes an appearance in the “Boyz” video, re-creating Ben Stiller’s interlude from the “Bad Boy For Life” as Nelson stares ahead, ready to get the party re-started. Placing second on the past week’s tally ...

Halsey returned to Saturday Night Live on Oct. 9, delivering a pair of stellar performances from her latest album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. For their first song, the 27-year-old pop star — who had her first child over the summer — gave a futuristic performance of the powerful single “I Am Not a Woman, I’m a God.” Dressed in a black leather bodysuit and surrounded by fog, the singer confidently delivered the track against an otherworldly backdrop. Halsey slowed things down for their second performance, bringing out legendary singer-songwriter Lindsey Buckingham for the beautiful acoustic ballad “Darling.” This time around, she donned a puffy black dress with a black top hat and veil. Buckingham stood by her side providing stellar guitar wo...

Halsey Performs “Darling” with Lindsey Buckingham on SNL: Watch

Halsey returned to Studio 8H for the fourth time in as many years to serve as the musical guest opposite host Kim Kardashian-West on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live. The pride and joy of Edison, New Jersey supported her new album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, by performing “I Am Not a Woman, I’m a God” and “Darling.” The latter performance was especially notable as Halsey was joined on stage by Lindsey Buckingham. The former Fleetwood Mac member had only appeared on SNL twice before, once in 1982 as a musical guest, and again in 2011 in a cameo appearance during SNL’s “What Up with That” sketch wherein Bill Hader famously spoofed Buckingham. Needless to say, it was especially surreal to see Buckingham on stage with Halsey during last night’s episode — especially since it d...

Madonna & Jon Batiste Lead Impromptu ‘Like A Prayer’ Sing-Along Down the Streets of Harlem

When a trio of gospel singers came out and the Queen got down on her knees, the audience – which included her daughter Lourdes Leon, Drag Race winner Aquaria, Pose star Dyllon Burnside and choreographer and longtime associate Jose Gutierez Xtravaganza – collectively skipped a heartbeat, knowing which song was coming next. But never content with business as usual, Madonna didn’t let the venue contain her – she led the pop-up show’s crowd out onto the streets of Harlem for an unlikely late-night street party. Megaphones in hand, M and Batiste had the crowd singing “Like a Prayer” (surprisingly in tune for 2 a.m.) down the middle of 126th Street, with an amiable tuba keeping time and a freestyling saxophone elevating the joyous, jazzy rendition of the Billboard Hot 100...
